Heaven Bound

“For they have forsaken me  and have made this a place of foreign gods …. they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent. They have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire …so beware, the days are coming …I will make them fall by the sword of their enemies, at the hands of those who seek their lives …” Jeremiah 19:4-7

Isis has a thirst for blood. American blood in particular – boasting recently that “American blood tastes best”.  A statement (based  on the verse above) that we can be assured is a promise as much as it is a threat. For the Lord has determined their success. It is time.

On April 19th of this year Times Square in mid-town Manhattan will boast a replica of the Temple of Baal. An ancient structure you may never have heard of unless you read the Bible or frequent the often dry pages of architectural journals of the ancient world. With plans for duplicating this structure in a thousand different cities around the world, the temple of Baal will enjoy a notoriety that it has not known since the last fire was kindled in its blood thirsty belly several thousand years ago. But, alas, its day has come.

It is not by accident that the date of April 19th was chosen. For it is a very special date in the world of the occult with implications far and beyond what many of us might think. It is also not by accident that Times Square has been chosen.

Central to American life and culture for the past few decades what better place to erect an image to the ultimate god of self than the hedonistic hub we call Times Square. Often referred to as “the crossroads of the world”, “the center of the universe”, “the heart of the great white way”, and “the heart of the world” (per Wikipedia) it is obvious that the 50 foot arch that will be raised there on April 19th will be right at home –  a god among gods – you might say – amidst the bright lights, advertisements and amusements that have come to represent every facet of American life in this past century.  This quote from James Traub, ‘The Devils Playground: A Century of Pleasure and Profit in Times Square – says, it well.

“Times Square quickly (after world war 1) became New York’s *agora, a place to gather, to await great tidings and to celebrate them, whether a world series or a presidential election” 

For this reason, Times Square has become America’s Town Square marking not only who we are, but where we are. And from the looks of things – time for America is up.
