The beautiful and unforgettable words to one of my favorite childhood hymns – fitting words, in honor of our beautiful Savior and King.

Brothers and sisters, we know that Jesus is coming soon and as we enter this special time of year, (the fall Feasts, beginning with the Feast of Trumpets this week), I would like to invite you to join with me in focusing solely on the worship of Jesus, our Master and King.

So, for the next few days, instead of our regular commentary, discussion, posting of links etc, I would like to suggest that instead, we share a favorite scripture, a prayer, a poem, a song – anything that is on our heart that glorifies the name of Jesus.

Let’s take time this week to let it be known  – Jesus, we adore you and eagerly await your soon return!

Most of you are familiar with the Five Doves website, and if you haven’t yet heard, John Tng is back from vacation and is posting the Five Doves letters once again. Thank you, Steve Coerper for standing in the gap while John was away.  Speaking for myself, the Five Doves letters have become a daily “must” for me and I truly appreciate all those who take the time to contribute and all the work involved in getting the letters out to us each day.

It’s 56 minutes long and very well done, so much so, that I sent it out to just about every one on my personal e-mail list today.

Brother’s and sisters, God’s prophetic plan is unfolding before our eyes. I can’t think of a more exciting time to be alive!

* In light of the many diverse comments I received regarding this post, I decided instead of trying to address each one individually, I would address them all here, collectively.

First of all, I want to thank each of you for taking the time to write. I truly appreciate  your many thoughtful comments and want you to know that anything I post, is always open for discernment, discussion and yes, even criticism, in fact, I expect and appreciate it.

As we are all very much aware, we live in one of the most exciting periods of history and also, one with the greatest opportunity for deception. With the advent of the internet, it is more imperative than ever, that all information be screened through the lens of scripture and, while, we will never all agree 100% on anything, I do believe that it is through the collective wisdom of readers and writers alike on forums like these that we are best equipped to do so.

After my initial excitement over the video, I remember thinking, how I felt when I first saw the film Knowing and I remember that I did not view the ending of the film as a rapture event but, rather as a pseudo rapture event.   No large space craft is needed to “beam us up”.  As the Bible tells us, we will all be changed in the “twinkling of an eye”. So, while there were things I liked about the video, there were also things, in retrospect, that I believe should be given careful thought.

That being said, please, understand that anything posted here at Cindy by the Sea is always open for discernment and discussion. And, while we may not always agree, as long as there is interest, I will continue to post my personal insight and items I find of interest for your comment and your reproof.  I truly believe that if we can continue to do so with a spirit of kindness, grace and respect; we can all be better equipped and can display before the world, honor befitting the King of Kings, as we await his soon arrival!

On Monday September 11, President Obama stood before the nation and the world and read from the 46th Psalm. A Psalm which begins with these words “God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” And, for a nation still wounded and grieving the loss of so many loved ones, these would have been comforting words had they been read by someone whose who had previously demonstrated a sincere reverence for the word of God.  Choppy and detached in its delivery, one would have to wonder, whose idea it was to read from the Bible, and, to what purpose it served, as the Bible is not welcome in most public schools across America today.

Three years in to the Obama Presidency and we still know very little about the man elected to our country’s highest office and to one of the world’s most powerful positions, if not, the most powerful.  Who can forget the media frenzy that accompanied him during the months of his campaign; – the many Messianic images the public and the press extolled upon him – none of which, (to my knowledge) he ever refuted.  Looking back now, (with his current decline in popularity), it seems a little hard to grasp, just why the world was captivated by this man. But, as we shall see, in spite of his current decline in popularity, the purpose for which he rose to power has not yet been fully realized. 

With this in mind, is it any wonder that more than a few eyebrows shot up as the President read these words from the 46th Psalm at the 9/11 memorial service.

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”

And, while this is not the first time that Psalm 46 has been read in a public address; considering, the many messianic attributes assigned to the President over the past few months, many were left scratching their heads and wondering if it were not Yahweh the President was speaking of here, but, rather of himself. And, as ludicrous as that many seem on the surface, that may be exactly what happened.

I want to bring your attention to a seemingly minor error the President made in reading from the text. In verse 9, he mispronounces the word bow (as in bow and arrow) and says, bow as in the bow of a ship – the part of the ship that is most forward, when a ship is underway. And, while it is easy enough for anyone to mispronounce a word, even the President, when a slip comes at an important event such as the 9/11 memorial, it deserves at least a second glance.

It took a few days for me to grasp just what it was that transpired during the reading of the 46th Psalm and thanks to the wonderful teaching of Pastor Mike Hoggard, I think, I now understand.  And, while Pastor Mike did not speak on the memorial service and the reading of the 46th Psalm itself;  what he did speak about were the events of 9/11/01 and how, they portend to and are woven into the larger fabric of the yet future events as described in Revelation 9:11. 

I’ll summarize a little of the teaching from his video as you’ll need it for background for where I am going with this. I’ll also post the link to his blog, so you can listen to his message in its entirety, as it is fascinating!

First of all, as I mentioned above, Pastor Mike points out that the events of 9/11/01 are not isolated, but, are rather, part of the larger picture of Revelation 9:11.

“They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abbadon, and in Greek Apollyon.”

Names which mean – “destruction and destroyer”.

Keep this in mind, as we move forward.

In Pastor Mike’s teaching, he draws from the story of Abimelech in Judges chapter 9 – and, this is important.

Abimelech, if you recall, is the son of Gideon (also known as Jerubaal) by a concubine. Because Abimelech is the son of a concubine, he is therefore, not a legitimate son. Abimelech is a selfish and ambitious man and is jealous over his 70 half-brothers, (who are legitimate sons), and, wants to establish himself as king over them and will use any means necessary to do so, including force. 

In verse 5, we read, that Abimelech murders all of his 70 half-brothers with the exception of one brother, who escapes; the youngest son Jotham.  It is Jotham, then, who confronts the people of Shechem (relatives of Abimelech on his mothers side) who, want Abimelech to be their king.  Jotham likens their choice to that of choosing between a good tree (olive and fig) and a bad tree ( a bramble, or thorn-bush). And, the people have not chosen well, as they have chosen the bramble. Because of the type of choice made; Abimelech becomes a type of anti-christ. 

And, although the people of Shechem have chosen Abimelech as king, in verses, 26-42, they later, throw their lot in with a man by the name of Gaal, whose goal it is to usurp the authority of Abimelech (a plan actually orchestrated by God, to avenge the blood of the 69 slain brothers). Gaal leads the people of Shechem to fight against Abimelech, but, the day after the battle, when, the citizens of Shechem go out to work the fields, they are met with an ambush by Abimelech and they are struck down and killed.  On hearing this, the remaining citizens of Shechem flee for safety to a temple of their god.

Now, this is where it gets even more interesting, stay with me now!

“On hearing this, the citizens in the tower of Shechem went into the strong hold of the temple of El–Berith. When Abimelech heard that they had assembled there, he and all his men went up Mount Zalmon. He took an ax and cut off some branches, which he lifted to his shoulders. He ordered the men with him, Quick! Do what you have seen me do!  So, all the men cut branches and followed Abimelech. They piled them against the stronghold and set it on fire over the people inside. So all the people in the tower of Shechem, about a thousand men and women, also died. Judges 9: 46-49.

Now, this is interesting because the men and women, although in the tower went into what they believed to be a sanctuary of safety, the temple of the god Berith  (El-Berith incidentally is connected with the worship of Baal – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berith_(god) – and, they were slain.

Contrast this with the citizens of Thebez in verses 50-52, who, when they learned they were under siege, fled to a tower for safety.

“Next Abimelech went to Thebez and besieged it and captured it. Inside the city, however, was a strong tower, to which all the men and women – all the people of the city – fled. They locked themselves in and climbed up on the tower roof.”

As Pastor Mike points out in his teaching,  a tower in the Bible represents God – ( one example, of which, is found in  Proverbs 18:10). 

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.”

It’s clear, when looking at these passages, that those within the tower were kept safe, while, those who either left the tower or sought refuge within their tower in the strong hold of their gods were killed.

There’s a lot of typology here and I think its easy to see, that those who do not seek the refuge of the tower (Jesus) are lost, as well as those, who, make the fatal mistake of thinking the tower is not enough and seek to add to it, “gods” of their own making; an equally fatal mistake. 

We also see through this passage, a hint of days to come, a day, when, the world (like the citizens of Shechem) will clamor for a king, not a righteous king as depicted by the olive and fig trees of Judges 9, but, rather a bramble king, a king of thorns.

And, this king (like Abimelech) will prove not be their savior, but, will instead be the source of their destruction.

When the towers of 9/11/01 came down in a roaring heap of smoke and fire, the world witnessed, a siege, on the towers of God. Not that the world trade towers were godly in any respect, but, rather figuratively, a preview of the enemy’s assault on the tower of God (in other words, an assault on God himself).   How do I know? – by the President’s own words –

“He breaks the bow (bough) and shatters the spear, and burns the shields with fire”

Change that one word from bow (bow as in bow and arrow) to bough (as in the bough of a tree, a tree branch) and the verse takes on a whole new context.

We’re given this clue, because the word change takes place on the anniversary of 9/11.  Boughs + towers.

Remember, the boughs of Judges 9 were cut or broken for use in the assault against the tower.

And, who is the tower? The tower is Jesus!

In the last days, the enemy seeks an all out assault on the tower of God. He would do well to consider the fate of Abimelech, who, on his assault on the tower of Thebez, was felled by a single millstone dropped from above by a woman, who had been grinding grain.

When I think about the assault on the towers by Abimelech and the assault on the towers of 9/11, I think it is obvious that the spirit of anti-christ is fully at work today.  A number of scholars have come to the conclusion that Jesus was born on September 11 3 BC.  If this is so, I can see why the date of 9/11 was chosen for the attack on the world trade towers as Jesus is our strong tower. http://bytheword.com/birth

When President Obama uttered these words, “Be still; and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” Keep in mind, who else, it is that seeks to be exalted. (Isaiah 14:12-14) – revealed to us, I believe at the Memorial Service of 9/11, with these words – “he breaks the bow (bough).

 Blue Whale off the California Coast Sept 13, 2011

It was an extraordinary sight, a pod of Blue Whales spotted swimming next to a vessel of Biologists and camera crew off the coast of Long Beach, California on Tuesday.  The whales, which normally travel solo or in groups of two or three (unlike other types of whales)  have been a thrilling sight for whale watchers off and on all summer. So, it was more than amazing, when the vessel Christopher encountered not just two or three of these magnificent creatures, but, as many as 15! 

Blue Whales are the largest known creatures on earth; much larger than any other animal, land or sea. The Blue Whale  can weigh as much as 330,000 pounds and grow to be over 100 feet in length, at this immense size, they are without a doubt, one of the world’s most commanding creatures and a magnificent sight to behold.

With this in mind, you can imagine how those aboard the Christopher must have felt as not one or two but, a whole pod of these immense creatures began swimming next to their vessel. For some reason, the whales had taken an intense interest in it, swimming closely to it and surfacing frequently. Then, something happened which is so rare, that it is in all probability, a first – one of the females surfaced alongside the boat making a deep low-pitched groan that lasted approximately ten seconds.  And, then, to the astonishment of everyone aboard, she, appeared at the other side of the boat, repeating the same thing, both times, keeping her head well above the surface.

The vocalization of Blue Whales below the surface is typical of their behavior, and has been well documented, but, vocalization above the surface is so rare as to be non-existent and for this to happen, not once, but, twice is extraordinary beyond belief.  *See links below for full story and video.  

If animals could talk?  We know that some times they do, when God has his hand in it.  Leading me to wonder, in these troublesome days, just what these magnificent creatures were trying to say to the people aboard the vessel Christopher.

Was it a warning, a friendly greeting or something more?

The name Christopher is of course a derivative of Christ. And, we know that Christ is our vessel of safety, the one who will deliver us through the troubled waters of this earthly life and the perilous times, in which, we live.  A whale was also, a vessel of safety for the reluctant prophet Jonah as he attempted to dodge God’s calling to go to Nineveh.

Can God use these mighty creatures of the deep? You bet he can!

I don’t know about you, but, I think this whale had something so important to say, that she said it twice.

Thank you, Lord for sending, even the great creatures of the sea to speak your voice and to do your will.  Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, will listen and understand.

EYGYPTIANS TEAR DOWN ISRAEL EMBASSY’S SECURITY WALL

So much for security and so much for the highly publicized Arab spring and the seeds of democracy supposedly being sown through-out the middle-East these past few months. In a frenzy of anti-Israel sentiment, following the ouster of the Israeli ambassador to Turkey, protestors used anything they had, including bare hands to tear down the wall providing protection for the Israeli embassy in Cairo.  http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/09/09/egyptians-tear-down-israel-embassys-security-wall/

With anti Israeli sentiment at an all time high across the region including strain in ties with former allies, Israel is facing, perhaps their worst crisis ever, since achieving statehood in 1948.

Israel is in a very tight spot and the Prime Minister is under great pressure from all sides including his own government. With the noose around them tightening, many are second guessing the Prime Minister and are in favor of supporting a Palestinian state in the hope that finally peace can come to the region.  Desperate times call for desperate measures but, this is exactly what they should not do as it never works to try to appease your enemies.

As things look now, a proposal for a Palestinian State will go before the UN on September 20. but, I’m wondering if both sides might reach an agreement first; therefore, keep your eye out for a last-minute deal.

If Israel comes to some kind of agreement regarding the creation of a Palestinian state, they will at least feel that they have some voice in the process. If it goes before the UN, the conditions will be decided for them. The Palestinians probably do not care, which way it goes, as long as they get what they want. They are really in a position of advantage here, and they know it.

The Obama administration would like to head this off before it goes to the UN, because a vote would force them to show their hand.  A veto of the proposal would enrage the Arab nations, who would feel betrayed in the wake of our support of the recent “Arab Spring” and, a vote for it, would alienate millions of prospective voters at home, just as the 2012 elections loom ahead. 

We know, the Bible tells us that when they are saying “peace and safety” then sudden destruction will come. If a Palestinian state is forced upon Israel, you can be assured, it will not be peace and safety, but, war!  Therefore, I would not be surprised, if some kind of an agreement is reached before the 20th.

Don’t forget in all of this, that President Obama has yet to earn the peace prize awarded to him pre-maturely in 2009. If ever there was a big fish to be caught; this is it! 

The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:3:

“While people are saying ‘peace and safety’ destruction will come on them suddenly as labor pains on a pregnant woman and they shall not escape.”

In other words, before the ink is dry on any agreement signed, Israel will be attacked  – but, it will not be Israel who is destroyed, but, her enemies.  It is out of this conflagration that the Anti-Christ will rise and cease the reins.

Brothers and sisters, we have a ringside seat to the action and are active participants through prayer. Which ever way this goes, whether an agreement is reached, or it goes to a vote – either way, the outcome will be the same –the battle belongs to the Lord, and, we know who wins!

    Japanese Crane

The crane is believed by many to be one of the oldest birds on earth and has always been an important symbol in ancient and pagan religions including Islam. http://www.realalternativesite.com/crane-mythologylongevity-a-2036.html

In legend, the crane represents happiness, joy and eternal peace and remains an important symbol in Asian culture and in Buddhism to this very day as depicted in art and ceremony.  According to an article titled “the Legend of the Crane,” – “after the events of 911, one thousand origami cranes were folded and linked together and given to police stations, museums and churches in New York City.”   http://www.sos-walk.org/sos/crane.htm

Four days, before the tenth anniversary of 9/11, a crane (a machine, not the bird) was brought in to repair the damaged National Cathedral. The National Cathedral, as you remember, sustained substantial damage in the earthquake of August 23.  About 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, amid thunder storms and driving rain, the 500 ton crane flipped backwards, damaging three cars and one of the cathedral buildings.  One news article had this to say regarding the incident:

I was discussing this story with my daughter Seven Stars this morning, when, she reminded me of a dream she had approximately two weeks ago. I remember discussing the dream; the dream involved a crane – a machine, not the bird.  At the time, I didn’t give it much thought as it didn’t seem to relate to anything I could think of.  In retrospect, I believe that God was revealing some very important information through this dream; information that would link backward and forward to two other events. One; to a dream I had in March 2010 and two; to the incident at the National Cathedral two weeks later.  

The dream:

In the dream, my daughter is in a restaurant eating breakfast with a group of people and when they finish eating, they go out in to a field to work.  In the distance a large crane is in view, it is being brought to the field as part of the work that will be done that day.  As the crane approaches, my daughter has a very bad feeling about it and warns people to get out-of-the-way, to clear the area before the crane arrives.  But, no one listens and when the crane arrives at the site, it suddenly and unexpectedly collapses; falling over and killing one person.   The person killed is a woman by the name of Dana Rose.  (Dana incidentally is a real person, an acquaintance of my daughters and is from New Orleans – bye, bye, Miss American Pie ????)   The body is removed out from under the crane, but, for some reason, is not covered with a sheet, as you would normally expect, but, is allowed to lay out in the open in full view of passers-by. 

 End of dream.  

When I looked up the name Dana, I found that it is a derivative of the Hebrew name Daniel and, means “arbiter” – in other words, “one who judges in matters being disputed”.

This reminded me of  a dream, I blogged on back in March of 2010, regarding Hillary Clinton and her role as arbiter in the middle-East peace process.  This was back when Hillary was giving Prime Minister Netanyahu a particularly hard time. It’s clear to me, that the dream I had in March of 2010 regarding Rose and the dream my daughter had two weeks ago regarding Dana Rose are one and the same. God has made sure this is understood by adding the name Dana, so, that we know that the Rose in question is the one who remains in the role of arbiter.

In my humble estimation, I believe that God is very angry with the meddling of the Quartet and particularly with Hillary Clinton. I believe the woman killed by the crane is Hillary; representing of course, in a much larger sense, the United States, i.e. mystery Babylon.  The unquenchable thirst for power by those negotiating the peace process, will in the end, collapse in and upon themselves; their destruction in full view for all the world to see.   

Take comfort brothers and sisters, these things are not by accident, God is working over time in these last days to show us some mighty things!  Yes, the world system is going to collapse admist great terror and destruction, but, as the incident at the National Cathedral clearly demonstrates; the church will be spared!

I want to bring your attention to a video posted on Five Doves today regarding the possibility of a strong earthquake on September 15th.  If you haven’t seen the video, please, watch it now. It’s only seven minutes long and presents some compelling information regarding the very real possibility of an earthquake on the West Coast on Sept. 15.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xizZLbWaWKo

As the video points out, the theme of the earthquakes seem to be birth related, the Pacific Rim similar in many ways to the bony pelvis through which a baby’s head is delivered.  Leaving us to wonder, if the Pacific Rim serves some how as a very real  illustration for the travail the earth is now in; the birth pangs leading to the coming of the Messiah. For when the baby is in a position to be delivered, the head is said to be engaged and when, about to be delivered; crowned.  Both terms, which could be applied to bride just before the coming of the heavenly groom – engaged and crowned!

I also find it interesting that there have been an exact 188 days in between each of the earthquakes and while, not a perfect match, it is 189 days into fetal development, that the eyes become open, leading me to believe that the Lord is giving anyone with eyes to see fair warning regarding the days ahead.  For the bride days of joy, for the unrepentant, a fearful expectation for what is yet to come.

This reminds me of the dream I had at the end of June in regard to getting a room ready for the 15th and while the specific month was not given, I felt sure the dream was speaking of a time in the not to distant future.  And, considering the very real possibility for earthquake or tsunami here in the islands, it is a warning I am taking seriously.  And, while Honolulu means “place of shelter” –  as a Christian, I know the only real place of shelter is found in him. 

Dear friends, the days ahead couldn’t be more important. Prepare as God would lead you – first, your hearts and then your pantry. And, may your hearts be filled with joy, for Jesus is coming soon!

I was intrigued by the so-called photos of Elenin posted on Five Doves today, so I decided to try it with my own cell phone camera.  According to those posting photos, Elenin can be seen by taking a photo directly into the sun at mid-day using a cellphone.  Apparently, cellphone cameras work better than others due to the type of technology they use – infra-red, I think it said.  Anyway, I wanted to try it for myself and was astounded to get a very similar photo to the ones being posted on Five Doves today.

As you can see, in my photo, there is a bright object next to the sun. Is it Elenin as many are suggesting or something else?  Perhaps, friend and reader Michael, who is a master Astronomer can shed some light on this.  What do you think Michael? Is this Elenin?  Also, because of the screen size of the blog, the image of Elenin is partially cut off – (you can see it at the edge of the screen on the right side – it has a pink halo around it) – double tap the screen over the photo and the full photo will appear. It really is quite amazing!

Those of you who have photo capability on your cell phones might want to try it as well. I would love to see what you get.  I called my daughter in Washington state this afternoon and had her take a photo and even though it was late in the afternoon, she got a pretty good photo, as well.  Maybe, I will try to post it tomorrow.  Looking forward to hearing from all of you soon.  And, as always –

* Thank you to every one who took time to read my post today.  I’m sorry about the problem with the photo, from my end, it seemed fine. Well, as it turns out, for those of you who missed the photo,  you didn’t miss much – unless you count a nice picture of the sun as taken on a hot sunny afternoon in Hawaii! 

Thank you to Michael and Josua for your insight on the likely explanation for the bright object showing up in photos of the sun.  I was skeptical of the reports I read, but, got slightly more excited, when I got a photo of my own.  

Thank you, also to Jay (in the comments section) for reminding us to continue in sound doctrine.  For some reason, there is something in our human nature that cannot resist the need to see or touch something tangible. Twenty days from now, if the Palestinian Authority has its way, Jerusalem will be a city divided.  And, by the looks of things, that is exactly what is going to happen.

How many of you saw this article from the Jerusalem Post today? “Sarkozy wants united EU voice on PA statehood bid”   And, to further make the French President’s point, the EU is ready to enter a trade agreement with Gaza and the West bank for exporting goods from Palestinian merchants (fruit, vegetables and cut flowers) to European countries. You would think the EU would have bigger things to think about. Like the growing Muslim population across Europe. Statistics show that at the current rate of growth, in 20-50 years, Europe as we know it will cease to exist. It will have become a Muslim nation. And, while God loves Muslims and wants them to be saved, with the decline of the church in Europe that is likely not going to happen.

The nations are stirring like bees around a hive. If there was ever a time for intercessory prayer for Israel, our families, and our nation, it is now.  With all things considered, it is quite possible that the world, as we know it at the beginning of this month, may well be different from the world, as we know it, by the end of the month.

Today is the first day of the Jewish month of Elul. Elul means “harvest” and it is customary to blow the shofar each morning with the exception of Shabbat from now until Rosh Hashanah.  The purpose for the blowing of the shofar is to serve as a reminder for the people to prepare their hearts for the holy days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elul

I like that idea; blowing the shofar daily.  It seems a fitting image to keep in mind, especially now. May we too, ask the Lord of the Harvest to prepare our hearts and minds for the days ahead. And, may his coming be soon!

  One of the many strange faces of 911

“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning.”  Revelation 18:9 

In preparation for the tenth anniversary of the events of 911, President Obama has asked the nation to come together in unity,  to unite once again, in the same spirit, which followed the events of 911.  From the ABC news blog, Political Punch, President Obama is quoted as saying:

As I read the quote, I was struck by the President’s choice of words, “summon” that spirit once more. To me, it seemed an odd choice of words and one that could have been phrased a little bit differently without too much trouble. So, why this particular choice of words?  When I typed “summoning a spirit” in to my computer all kinds of occult information came up (as I knew it would) convincing me that while the phrase used by the President in and of itself may have been innocent, the use of the word “summon” (intentional or not) – in a dimension beyond our own, was not.  Leaving me to wonder, just what “spirit” was being invoked and what its purpose might be.

Many images of the burning towers were captured on film that fateful day, some of which, contain what appear to be strange demonic looking faces peering out from the billowing smoke and flames. An odd coincidence? Nothing more, than a strange array of dark and light shadows caught in the midst of the rapidly moving and roiling smoke. And, while no one can say for sure, this much is certain, the face of evil (captured in smoke or not) was present that day in the events of 911.

Would it surprise anyone to learn that the Presidents remarks (regarding the spirit of 911) should come an exact 3 years following his coronation at the temple of Obama in Denver on August 28, 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. Both days, Av 27 on the Jewish calendar.

What does all of this mean? Well, while I can’t be sure, I have the distinct feeling we are about to find out. The events of 911 are unfortunately, unfinished business. In other words, the final chapter to this story is yet unwritten – except perhaps, in the pages of Revelation 18, when the destruction of Babylon is complete. 

At that time of the Democratic convention, little was known about then candidate Barack Obama; today, three years in to the Obama presidency, he remains as much a mystery as the day he accepted the nomination. This calls for wisdom on the part of the Saints; may God grant us wisdom in these last days.
