A Warning or a Curse?
On January 13, 1893 the USS Boston arrived in Honolulu with a company of Marines for the express purpose of bolstering the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy. And just 4 days later on January 17th that would become a reality with the arrest of Queen Liliukolani. This same year the Queen had written a heartfelt letter to the American people with a plea for intervention … along with a warning against coveting Naboths vineyard …. the results of which (if not heeded) could be as dire as the punishment meted out to King Ahab and Queen Jezebel in the book of Kings in the Bible.
As a result of the early Missionaries to Hawaii the Monarchy had converted to Christianity around 1825 and had widely made it known that the Kingdom of Hawaii and its people should be Christian in accordance with their new beliefs. Therefore, the Queens request was biblically sound and in accordance with scripture.
The Queens Plea
It is my hope in revisiting this subject to explore the idea that the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy against the express wishes of the Queen might indeed have the ramifications to which she alluded. That there would come a time in which judgment would be meted out to those who had stripped her kingdom from her – and, if not then, perhaps in the future. And there is to this day a plethora of predictive programming along with a number of dreams (my own included) which suggest this may very well be true – along with certain events of the past which we shall look at shortly.
King Ahab and Naboths Vineyard
1 Kings 21:1-28
In 1 Kings chapter 2, we find King Ahab confronting Naboth with a request for his vineyard. Evidently, it was close to the Kings palace and the king wanted it for growing his own vegetables. He even offered a better vineyard elsewhere or payment for what it was worth. But Naboth refused citing that the vineyard was his inheritance. Well, this so angered the King that he went home and sulked even to the point of not eating. When his wife Jezebel inquired as to why he was acting this way he admitted to her it was all because the man Naboth who had refused to give him his vineyard.
An Evil Scheme
When Jezebel found out the reason for Ahab’s melancholy and sullen behavior she reminded him of who he was – King of Israel! And she set forth a scheme to get Ahab exactly what he wanted. In order, to carry out her scheme she needed two individuals to make false accusations against Naboth who would claim that Naboth had blasphemed both God and King – the penalty of which- if found guilty was death by stoning. And based on the false testimony of these two “witnesses” that is exactly what happened and Naboth was stoned to death allowing King Ahab to take possession of the vineyard he had so coveted.
The Blood of Naboth and the King’s Fate
When the Prophet Elijah hears this he confronts Ahab with his actions and tells him this:
“This is what the Lord says: Have you not murdered a man and seized his property?’ Then say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: In the place where dogs licked up Naboth’s blood, dogs will lick up your blood —yes, yours!
He also said, “‘I am going to bring disaster on you. I will wipe out your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel—slave or free.”
And regarding Jezebel –
“And also concerning Jezebel the Lord says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’
“Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country.”
(There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife. He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the Lord drove out before Israel).
Ahab’s Surprising Response
Upon hearing the words of the Lord against him Ahab unexpectedly repents from his deeds and while the Lord is merciful his sentence though delayed still stands.
“When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went around meekly.”
“Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite: “Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”

A Warning or a Curse?
So, getting back to Queen Liliukolani and her letter to the American people – her reference to Naboth and his vineyard could not be more clear – the results of which – should her words be not heeded – could well end in disaster- if not then; then sometime in the future.
A Day Which Will Live in Infamy
On the morning of December 7, 1941 the skies above the island of Oahu were suddenly and unexpectedly filled with Japanese Zero bombers. It was a Sunday morning and many Sailors aboard the 102 ships at Pearl Harbor were just starting to roll out of bed to get their breakfast. The attack began at 7:55 a.m. and 75 minutes later 2,403 Sailors were dead along with 68 civilians and 19 US Navy Ships damaged or destroyed 8 of which were battle ships. It was a crushing loss for US military.
Strongs Numbers
It’s been my experience in looking up certain numbers in the Strongs Bible Concordance that more often than not they seem to apply to any given subject. And while I do not believe they are inspired in the same way as the Bible, I do believe that in the foreknowledge and master mind of God that everything, everything bears his signature and his hand. So, bearing that in mind, I want to look at two numbers here – the number 2,403 and 102.
2,403 – the number of Sailors killed at Pearl Harbor
Can you believe it! Strongs number 2403 in the Hebrew is sin and in Greek Jezebel. I was astonished and in my mind this finding answered a lot of questions.
102 – The number of ships in port on December 7. 1941
The number 102 – a band; an army – unable, powerless; impotent. Absolutely, describes the situation at Pearl Harbor that day.
A Remaining Question
In my mind, based on the evidence I have uncovered December 7, 1941 coming 48 years after the Hawaiian Monarchy was over thrown is a direct result of the warning issued by Queen Liliukolani regarding the coveting of their homelands. It was not a curse but rather a warning based on the scriptural precedence of the story out of 1 Kings. And because the attack on Pearl Harbor came 48 years later I believe it also has to do with inheritance.
But was it finished there on December 7th? As mentioned previously by way of various dreams and predictive programming it may not be as Hawaii was the first state to legalize abortion in March 1970 and the first state to consider lifting the restrictions on same sex marriage in 1993. The same year President Bill Clinton and Congress offered an official apology to the Hawaii people for the events 100 years previously- an apology that as far as I can tell did little to change anything.
Hawaii Today
In the years following the over throw of the Hawaiian Monarchy the islands have become increasingly secular. Many promote the pagan religion that existed before the arrival of the missionaries and tourism has all but choked out the ability for the native people to live and thrive in their ancestral homeland. From the days of the early plantations these beautiful islands whose base are massive mountains beneath the sea have proved lucrative for those who have kept it within their control – their greed and their vices destroying any hope the Monarchy had of Hawaii being a Christian nation. As far as I know, there has been no real repentance for this act – the official apology of 1993 not counting – therefore, it is my opinion that the loss we sustained on December 7, 1941 may be just a taste of what is to come. As Queen Liliukolani so succinctly put it – “God is not mocked”

Pray for the people of Hawaii. The false alarm they received of incoming missiles on the morning of January 13, 2018 still gives me shivers – 125 years to the day the USS Boston arrived in Hawaii for the soul purpose of removing the Monarchy – and of course, as always –
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall prosper who love thee” Psalm 122:6
