“And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin”. Jeremiah 32:35
In the last few weeks we have been witness to what would have once been unthinkable. Many states approving not only of abortion but abortion for any reason up until the moment of birth with no questions asked. And if that weren’t enough the horrendous vote in our own US Senate recently to withhold care for any infant who managed to survive an abortion attempt …. the modern equivalent to “passing our sons and daughters through the fire” as they did in ancient times.
In the last few days I have asked myself repeatedly, “Why, is this happening? Why, now? Why this direct and purposeful assault on the most helpless and innocent among us? Where did this come from and why?” Abortion has always been atrocious but this …. this is something else. When did we become so heartless and cruel?
Then I remembered the Arch from the Temple of Baal that was set up in Washington DC the latter part of 2018 and I thought, aha! So while looking for some information on the subject I came across an article from CBN news titled, “Arch from the Temple of Baal in DC: Coincidence or Pagan Invitation?”. And that caught my attention.
Quoting from Jonathan Cahn in the CBN article –
“Baal was a god of power, fertility and child sacrifice ….. the reconstructed arch (could possibly serve) as a gateway, and may have been placed as an open invitation to the entity or other entities associated with the arch”.
Sound far fetched? I don’t think so. In fact, I believe that is exactly what happened. To read article in full click here
Hence these chilling words from the book of Revelation.
“With a mighty voice he shouted: ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a dwelling place for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.'” Revelation 18:2
Most people underestimate the spiritual realm. These entities are blood thirsty, power hungry and looking for a home. And we, unwittingly (or not) put out the welcome mat.
The selling of baby parts is big business. Is that why there is a sudden push for full term but dead babies? Ah, now it makes sense.
And lest we think that the horrendous practice of selling body parts is relegated to babies – think again. I recently found out to my horror that a couple I knew fairly well 30 years ago is being investigated along with their daughter and 60 others for body brokering at a funeral home in the small Colorado town in which they live. Instead of cremating bodies brought to them for cremation services, the bodies were instead dismembered and the various parts shipped off to the highest bidder both here and abroad. Turning a nice profit even at discounted prices to those involved. The ashes returned to grieving families on investigation “cement powder” or something else only identified as non-human. If you can imagine that. A number of cats missing in the area, I presume. Keep in mind this is a very small community. If it can happen there – it can happen anywhere – and I imagine it most likely is. Why stop at babies when you can get mature adults? The killing of babies is just the beginning. Better yet, to keep it all nice and legal ….. death panels to rid society of those deemed unfit or useless. The dollars keep rolling in. To read this story in full, click here
We are told in the book of Ephesians that we” wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12) And so we are.
Therefore we must be diligent and aware.
As it says in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary , they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive very thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
Therefore we must make every effort to put on the whole armor of God. The instruction from Ephesians 6:10-18 never more applicable than today.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Amen and Amen.
This weekend I will be joining a group in protest of the liberal policies of the state in which I live (New Mexico). Number one on the list for me is their atrocious policy of abortion up and until the moment of birth. A practice that is not new here. Sadly women travel here from all over the world for services they cannot get elsewhere. The killing of their full term baby, if you want to call that a service. I believe in being proactive (and I am) but I also understand that the real battle will be won by utilizing the tools the Lord has given us …. without out them we may win a battle but we can never win the war. Pray (with me) if you will that God may continue to press on my heart all of these things in ways I have never fully grasped before. And as always,
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall prosper who love thee” Psalm 122:6
Watching and waiting with YOU for the soon return of Jesus! Cindy
The Arch of Baal…I missed that news that it had been set up in Washington DC. A monument w/ Daniel’s Prayer should be set up everywhere these pagan sites are placed. Thanks, Cindy (thought you were in CO?)
