The mighty Mississippi is drying up. The worst drought in 50 years is taking its toll on this once great river and unless, something changes fast, the worst is yet to come.
The Mississippi River is vital to the American economy as 60% of our grain and 22 per cent of our oil and natural gas and one fifth of our coal travel down this river. Therefore, the importance to the nation and our economy cannot be underestimated as is pointed out in this article from today’s news.

I’m not sure how much the public is paying attention to all of this right now, but, sooner or later, when prices at the local grocery store double and triple, it WILL get their attention. Food prices in Hawaii are already exorbitantly high; I can only imagine, what might happen on an island with 950,000 hungry people, when, they can no longer afford to buy food. I shudder to think!
Birds and fish dying in unprecedented numbers without any clear explanation. Mutant insects and who, knows what else from Fukushima. And, a world on the brink of a devastating war that could disrupt already scarce food and fuel supplies; it’s a recipe for disaster beyond what any of us can imagine.
I’ve been trying to stock up on food and a few other necessities in the hope that I will be a blessing and not a burden to my neighbors, when (not, if) that day should come. I think the proverbial handwriting is on the wall and we, who are Christians know it. So, if the Lord should tarry, what are we to do?
Something to think, pray and make provision about.
On a different note, I wanted to pass along an article that was forwarded to me by dear reader and sister in Christ, Bea Stegall, I think you will find it very interesting. When, I read stuff like this, I feel a lot like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, when she said to Toto, “I don’t think we’re in Kansas, anymore”. Yes, Dorothy, I know exactly how you feel! I hardly recognize this place any more – and, maybe that’s just the point. This world really is not our home, when, we belong to Jesus.

This all sounds so very grim and hopeless. Sometimes I have to step back from my favorite prophecy posts in order to regain peace from God. The things that are continuing to happen are as written, but God reminds me that when I see theses things begin to happen, see that I am not troubled. Somehow I must remain untroubled, safe in His peace as I watch these things and keep looking up for His soon return. The Lords prayer is the greatest prayer of all. The Lords prayer covers EVERYTHING! Amen!

I agree. The last verse of Daniel talks about the time that the abomination (the image – Obama) is set up until we will be blessed:
1,290 days – January 10, 2009 until August 9, 2012
(Supercomputer – Ra B – Egyptian sun god – goes down)
1,335 days – January 10, 2009 until September 24, 2012
Rosh Hashanah – September 16, 2012 (first day of Jewish New Year)
You FIRST need to realize that the nation of Israel as it now stands is mainly the heritage of Judah. The Northern dispersed Kingdom (the largest of which was Ephraim) was sent into the wilderness (eventually the US) and WE MAKE UP THE LARGEST GROUP OF the nation of ISRAEL – the apple of God’s eye. NOT replacement theology – but expansion theology. Now go back and read Joel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micah, etc. and the WORD will open wide open to you. Two countries – two nations. Two sticks to be joined into one – Israel/Judah + America (Ephraim – ZION coming down in Rev 21). ZION – changed in an instant – mortal to immortal – a rod of iron (JESUS) ruling the world – taking first dominion. All happening in ONE DAY.
There IS a reason the Mississippi is drying up. The Word states that God will once again take His people out of Egypt. (Egypt – the tribe of Dan intermarried Egyptian women while there – Joseph had an Egyptian wife and then God dispersed Egypt throughout the world.) (We have a pyramid on our money – an Egyptian wing symbol for the US Air Force – and on it goes. We have Pharoh now running our country. Remember his trip to Africa and the pictures shown where he compared his face to the Egyptian Pharoh.) There are so many deep hidden things in the Old Testament.
The WORD says that the world will come to worship the One True God in one sabbath week and new moon to new moon.
Sabbath week – August 10 – August 17th.
New Moon to New Moon – August 17th to SEPTEMBER 16th – Rosh Hashanah.
The Word says He will save Judah first and then Ephraim (us).
The heathen are RAGING. Everybody knows something is UP and the papers all have different (wrong) reasons for our problems.
How did God take His children out of Israel the last time? 3 ways – earthquake that eradicated those that refused to follow, killing each other (those that refused to follow) and drying up of the Jordan River where they crossed over on dry land.
Pay attention – get your hearts right – we will be the Firstfruits. The righteousness of the Lord will shine throughout the whole earth. They will say, “There goes the seed of Abraham” because His glory will shine on our faces.” Those that are asleep in Christ – those that have failed to repent of apostasy, abortions, greed of money and stuff need to be afraid. MERCHANDISE – MERCHANTS – are at the heart of America’s backsliding. Satan = King of Tyre – luring the world with his merchandise. (Babylon)

Cindy, i just have to tell you how much i appreciate your posts. i really need to be around believers who love Jesus and who long for His coming. you have such a sweet spirit and a love for Jesus.
my wife and i grow weary sometimes in waiting for our Lord to return. i can’t wait until we all bow before His feet and worship Him as He sits on the throne!!!
