Lady Gaga and the Egg, 53rd annual Grammy Awards, February 13, 2011
I have eggs on my mind this morning and its not because I’m craving an omelette! It actually started with a post I read yesterday on the Open Scroll regarding the latest stunt by Lady Gaga (if you want to call it that) which took place at the Grammy’s this year on February 13. If you’re not familiar with Lady Gaga (and God bless you if you’re not!) she is a pop icon known for her outrageous behavior and eccentricity. This year, she made headlines by being carried into the awards ceremony inside an egg like structure which she terms a vessel. Inside the semi-translucent structure Lady Gaga could be seen, where according to her, she had been incubating for the past 72 hours waiting to emerge to perform her newest hit single “Just Born This Way”. According to her, coming out of the egg or vessel represents a new birth, a transformation which all of humanity needs in order to rid our species of the hate, intolerance and judgment which plague us – particularly, when it comes to acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle, thus the title of her new song, Just Born This Way.
Rather than trying to duplicate the excellent research and insight done by Bob Schlenker at the Open Scroll, I will just point you directly to it. You can read it for yourself. The article is in three parts. The first part contains links to two videos by Pastor Mike Hoggard on the same subject and both are excellent! (You’ll remember Pastor Mike from the links I posted sometime back on The Triple Helix and The Mother of all Secrets). In one way, Lady Gaga has it right. We were all “just born this way” and a new birth is needed. How the devil loves to twist the truth! But, it’s not the re-birth of acceptance, tolerance and transformation that is needed, but, rather a new birth by the spirit of God through the blood of Jesus Christ, his one and only begotten Son. For it is through him and him only that our sin natures are changed and we are able to pass from death to life to become new creations in Christ Jesus.
Please pray for Lady Gaga (Stefani Germanotta) and a generation that is being influenced and seduced by twisted messages like these.

I did watch this with Mike Hoggard’s direction in Feb, after noticing through the Holy Spirit right away by the picture in the headlines, it was indeed a hidden message. It gives me chills to see so many excited to follow her like sheep to the slaughter. I understand what Jesus said in Matt. 23:37, “…How often I wanted to gather her chicks together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!”.
I am also worried about the follower’s of Open Scroll. I have read with wonder and interest, most of Bob’s writings. He sees so much of what most of us do not and need to be aware of or have our eyes opened. There was a point, after following his work, I had gotten rid of most of the things in my house and even silenced my clocks! My husband and children were ready to move out! Bob said he could not talk to me because I was a woman and did not have permission. He never posted my comments. I wondered about that and after a while I also noticed he didn’t post any comments that were not in total agreement and praise of his work. I also noticed that he had appeared to attack women, using Jezebel with an unmeasurable force and vengeance. I followed it until I no longer felt like I could pray to the Father because I was so unworthy and God would not listen to my prayers because I was a woman and perhaps I was not praying correctly. My prayer life was disrupted do to what this man was saying! Then I noticed that Bob confessed God TOLD him to divorce his wife and file bankruptcy. I am not aware that God tells us to sin for any reason, but that he forgives. I find it interesting that Bob wants so badly, like all of us, to be His “Bride”, but shows so much hatred for women. My husband said, occults are started with men like this, that seek to tare down women and see things that no one else does, finding evil in even a glass of water! I pray for the women that follow his ministry everyday. We aren’t all Jezebel’s and we are precious in His sight too.

I do think on this specirfic topic ( Lady Gaga) that Mr. Schlenker has some very good insight and information or I would not have posted it. As far as his other writings, I would certainly use discretion. For that reason, I will not be listing the Open Scroll on my regular blog roll. Hi Tamara,
I too went through the same thing with Bob as you did. In addition, I also posted a comment that he did not deem worthy to post. As you said, unless it is in agreement or praise of his work, it will not be posted. As far as I am concerned, Jesus viewed women in a completely different light than Bob. Remember the story of Martha and Mary. Martha was upset that her sister Mary wasn’t helping out with the serving. Jesus praised Mary for choosing wisely. Jesus found women worthy of teaching.

I used to read Mr. Schlenker’s blog, too, but have begun to forego it in the last six months or so. My spirit just did not feel good about the things he was presenting. Thanks to you, Cindy, for posting about Lady Gaga. I have been warning people about her for a while now. She is totally confused and we know who’s behind that!

I’m sorry – I can’t watch videos on my net service and I may be repeating what you will find on them. However, this is the MOST important subject now being understood and coming forth!
They are called “Nephilim.” They are the offspring of fallen angels. “lady” g just makes my skin crawl, seriously. I pray that the Lord would capture her heart and open her eyes to His love, and His TRUTH, REAL Truth. Right now in her unregenerate state she wouldn’t know Real Truth if it stared her in the eyes. I pray the Holy Spirit calls to her heart, more loudly than whatever garbage she is currently listening to. Sighhhhhhhhhh.

I received the open scroll’s latest entry today in my email. It was talking about women not permitted to teach men on the internet or anywhere about God’s Word. So I replied and sent him this scripture…all I sent was this one scripture…
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your *daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
He replied back to me mentioning it being evil for sending him that verse because me being a woman am not permitted to teach or correct a man anything about God’s Word.

[Hi Shelby, Thanks for writing! You are correct, there are many instances in the Bible where God has used women. In Luke 2:36-38, the prophetess Anna is mentioned. There is a difference, I believe in teaching and having authority over. Perhaps this is where some of the confusion lies. Over the course of the years, I have had opportunity to teach both men and women in a mixed setting. In my opinion, this is not the same thing as having authority over. Teachers fall under the authority of the Pastors and the elders; the main umbrella you might say. Blessings! C]
