Hitchcock’s, The Birds
Like a scene from a Hitchcock movie, 2011 arrived with an air of mystery as thousands of red-winged blackbirds fell dead from the sky in Arkansas on New Years Eve. Add to that 100,000 dead fish along a 20 mile stretch of river in the same area and the mystery becomes even more profound. What caused the sudden and massive deaths of both birds and fish in such a short period of time? If you like me, have been following these stories, you know that there are as many theories as there are reports – everything from fireworks, air turbulence, lightning, seismic activity, weather engineering and natural causes but, the truth is no one really knows. What’s even stranger and harder to comprehend is the number of reports trickling in daily from other areas of the country and around the world of more dead fish and birds. What in the world is going on!
On the fifth day …..
“And God said, Let the waters teem with living creatures and let birds fly across the earth above the expanse of the sky. So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems according to their kinds and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good … and evening and morning were the fifth day.”
It’s interesting to me that birds and fish are both linked together on the fifth day of creation. Sandwiched between the creation of the sun, moon and stars on the fourth day and the creation of man on the sixth day – is the creation of fish and birds. Both of which figure prominently in the New Testament with fish the symbol for Christians and a dove, the symbol for the Holy Spirit. The number 5 also happens to be the number for grace. Anytime God gives us warning to impending judgment, it is grace. Which I think may well be the point.
The first incident, (or at least the first one brought to our attention) involved the deaths of an estimated 5,000 red-winged Blackbirds in the town of Beebe, Arkansas. Not hailing from Arkansas, I can’t be exactly sure how the word Beebe is pronounced but, one of the first things that came to mind was the similarity of the name of the town to “Bibi” the nickname for Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Clinton connection to Arkansas. A second thought is how close Beebe sounds to the word “baby” – a warning of judgment perhaps in regard to the millions of abortions performed in this country since Roe v Wade was passed in 1973.
interesting to note as well -the birds fell in Arkansas ten days after the lunar eclipse.
This year has gotten off to such a bizarre start that it is becoming impossible to keep up with each new development. Checking the internet news tonight, I found a report on a river turning mysteriously bright green in Victoria, Canada, the massive deaths of thousands of crabs in the UK and a story linking the death of a former Bush aide who was recently found murdered in Delaware to the use of poisonous chemicals in Arkansas – a story I came across while reading John McTernan’s Insights. Like the title from the 1963 movie – “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World” It seems as if the whole world has gone mad! Bio-weapons, Haarp, Chemtrails, Atom smashing, L-Rad, Mind control and other sophisticated weapons; the list goes on and on ….. one thing is clear – this world is no longer business as usual! In this past century man in his rebellion has been pushing the boundaries set forth by God in Genesis with disastrous results and what we are seeing is just the beginning! Today its birds and fish, what will it be tomorrow ????

A letter of concern from Bob
Hello R
I live on the New Madrid fault. And I can tell you this. The surface rupture of the roads and highways is out of control. Also, everyday of the week, the structure of my moms home is “cracking” and shifting. You can hear the walls and the surface crack.
Nearby is a dollar general store. In that parking lot there are 3 flagpoles that “vibrate” violently. (not shaking from wind) Each and everyday, the roads “blow” up potholes. U.S. 41 is ruptured severely.
Interstate 65 is also badly damaged. They keep trying to repave them but it doesn’t work. The Cline Ave bridge at points is closing. This bridge and off ramps leads right into Inland steel and LTV steel and BP Amoco. So far, I believe 5-7 bridges have been shut down or are scheduled for closing because they are unsafe.
I monitor the earthquakes daily. And as you know there are far too many happening too quickly.
I believe the general public has been misled. In my opinion, the 2012 shift is happening now, but everyone has been conditioned to believe that they still have time to prepare for the main event. Thats b.s. It doesn’t happen all at once.
In Momence Illinois, some of the buildings are beginning to “sink”. In Cedar Lake Indiana, the same is happening.
The bottom line is this; Buildings are cracking, parking lots can’t be fixed, roads and bridges are closing every week, sidewalks are sinking and sinkholes are opening everywhere. At time day or night, you can literally feel the earth “vibrate” below your feet.
I’m in Northwest Indiana, and I believe we are about to get hit with a earthquake of biblical proportions. We are surrounded by propane, natural gas and BP Amoco refineries.
And, I’m more than concerned what will happen when the new madrid erupts.

Hi Cindy,
I did grow up in Conway, 35 miles west of Beebe. We always had massive flocks of blackbirds (not redwings) in my home town, and most people hated them. Periodically the town would fire off noise cannons to scare them away or some folks used guns. They are very messy if they roost by your home and carry a disease in their droppings (histoplasmosis, I think). I personally always loved to see them in flight and to hear the incredible noise the flocks made, but they did not roost in our yard!
Sorry to say I’m not really in touch with anyone except by Facebook. No comments at all via Facebook, which is interesting. Wish I had more insight for you.

Thanks Liz for sharing from your own personal experience. It’s always nice to hear from a first hand perspective. When I read that the birds in Beebe may have died from being startled by fireworks, I immediately laughed that one off – if that were true, we would have piles of dead birds here in Hawaii on New Years day because Hawaii celebrates new years with MEGA fire works! It’s like a war zone! Now reports of more dead birds today – this time in Italy. Something surely is awry. Blessings! Cindy

What a wild way to start 2011 off! I am finding that with every new conflict, the Lord gives new mercies and peace. I am finding that even the feeble are beginning to hear His words clearer than at any other time of the earth. I am finding that people are beginning to ask questions about what is going on – in the streets – at work – in the supermarkets. Strangers coming together in the markets talking about what is coming on the earth. Even the check-out clerks at grocery stores! With the fear mongering the enemy is stirring up, is also a great opportunity to talk about the Lord!

Great detective work, Cindy, and a lot to think about here. A message? I am certain that it is. When I was a child my family would take vacations to the upper Midwest. My sister and I, in the backseat, would make a game of counting all the red-winged blackbirds we saw. I love that bird, maybe the farmers don’t but I always have! It saddens me to imagine thousands dead at once. Yet it grieves me infinitely more to think of the tens of millions of unborn babies. So, I think that overall, Cindy, you have nailed the meaning of this “sign”; that is, grace before imminent judgment. Judgment, in part, required for those tens of millions of unborn. A very well written account of the signs- thanks, Cindy!

As you can see on that website, birds and fish continue to die all over the world in mysterious circumstances. In the uk 40 thousand crabs for example washed up ashore the website I posted above has many of the tragedies listed with dates and photos.
