Obama, the new King Tut
Remember when images like the one above hailed our Commander-in-Chief as something or someone a little bit more than that of mere mortal? Someone who for reasons most could not identify evoked images of strange and ancient paths. Someone who seemed destined for great things and had them within his grasp.
And while the imagery has dulled a bit with the drop in poll numbers, the mystery of the man has not.
Take for instance, these words from his latest speech in Milwaukee over labor day weekend. Speaking apparently off the cuff while adressing a crowd which had gathered, President Obama had this to say:
“They (referring to his opposition) talk about me like a dog”.
Really? Like a dog? Strange words for a man who would be King (or in this case Pharoah)! Words that left everyone scratching their heads and the political pundits scrambling to figure out what he could possibly mean.
It was not entirely clear what the president meant by “like a dog.” Conservative pundit Michelle Malkin commented that his remark seemed “like something that would come from a politician exhausted by marathon campaigning and beaten down by the opposition,” as opposed to the leader of the party in power. – http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20015684-503544.html
But, were these the words of an exhausted and beaten down politician, or – was it something else?
When you look at the usage of the word dog in scripture you will find it most often refers to gentiles, sorcerers and other evil doers. In other words, those outside the kingdom of God. In a flurry of e-mails today, some of us were comparing various scriptures that had to do with dogs. Do a quick search on the topic and you will see an interesting picture emerge. As I looked at the various scriptures, one in particular stood out – Exodus 11: 6–7. This one was brought to my attention by my friend and fellow blogger Ultraguy over at New Wineskins. And, it immediately caught my attention –
“There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt — worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any man or animal. Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.”
Think about it – not a dog will bark! This is important because the bark of a dog is typically used for alerting those who are sleeping or otherwise relaxing to the presence of a thief in their midst. A dog’s job is to sound the alarm! But, in this case, the dogs are silent!!!! As God goes about his work of separating his people, not a sound is made.
In the early morning hours of September 4, in the rubble of place called Christchurch, New Zealand what appears to have been a warning was given. Those who are watching, paid heed and trimmed their lamps. But, to the unsaved world, as the church gets ready to make its great departure, there will be no alarm -not a sound will be made. The dogs will be silent as Jesus comes to steal away his bride.
An interesting parallel to this is the scripture text from our Sunday morning worship this past week, (Psalm 105: 36–47) It’s a passage which so impressed me at the time that after reading it several times over, I finally e-mailed it to a few friends. I think I understand why now.
“He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold, and from among their tribes no one faltered. Egypt was glad when they left, because dread of Israel had fallen on them. He spread out a cloud as a covering, and a fire to give light at night. They asked, and he brought them quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock and water gushed out, like a river it flowed in the desert. For he remembered his holy promise to his servant Abraham. He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy; he gave them the lands of the nations, and they fell heir to what others had toiled for — that they might keep his precepts and observe his laws, Praise the Lord!”
Leaving Egypt! The world won’t miss us and we won’t miss it! Come Lord Jesus come!
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper who love thee” Psalm 122:6 Watching and waiting with YOU for the soon return of Jesus! Cindy
Thanks Cindy.
Interesting what happens when he goes off the teleprompter. Perhaps, I see where it might come from… A dog is considered a vile and unclean animal by the Muslims, and in his youth I doubt he owned one. Perhaps if he takes this guys advice he can have that changed…
Pakistani Minister: Obama should offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero and declare himself caliph

I also liked how you used the flight from Egypt as an illustration of the Rapture of the Church, like the judgment of Sodom, or the Flood. Very timely analogy!
God bless you and your ministry.

“Now history will record that Mr Bush’s last presidential trip to Iraq, a country his government has left such an indelible mark upon, was greeted with a volley of shoes and cries of “dog” (another extreme insult in Arabic) from Iraqi cameraman Muntadar al-Zaidi.”

Was he seeking sympathy from Muslims? They are calling me a ‘dog’ for sticking up for your mosque?

Cindy, God bless you and thank you so much for your obedience to God. You have blessed me with this blog.
I wanted to share that God has been confirming to me with personal messages (or signs) in addition to those being shared by watchers everywhere (Praise God for the internet!). I can hardly keep up with all that I’m getting personally.
I read the One Year Bible Blog daily. Today’s reading started the book of Isaiah (finished up Song of Solomon yesterday…how appropriate!) in ch 1 and 2. Chapter 2 verse 7 talks about their land being full of silver & gold!
I could barely sleep last night. My body is full of electricity. It is the oddest feeling.
Surely the Lord draws nigh?
In Christ,
Cathy

“As the controversy grows over the proposed building of a Mosque at the site of Ground Zero in New York, many are wondering exactly what Islam really teaches and how it fits into the end times and biblical prophecy?”

Islam is mentioned in the endtimes. The Queen of the South…..?! I don’t know. But, I would think the Lord has it covered because He desired all men to be saved and come to the truth. Perhaps, it is of the illustration from Ultraguy, the 2 goats stranded on the RR bridge. Perhaps it up to Church and Freemen who assisted the goats.
Who is Church and Freemen?

Dear Cindy by the Sea,
My brother in the Christ Ultraguy’s verse of Exodus 11:6-7 stirred the Spirit. For He knew something that was to be shared. That verse of Exodus was the Lord talking first person and in the present with Moses & Aaron. Then I knew where the Spirit was leading…..to Exodus 12:21. This verse is a continuation of that conversation. For the Lord told His friend Moses to go eat the Passover Lamb.
He was saying, hurry, go get this done before my promised time to Abraham is upon us and the Night to Be Much Observed would arrive before the Lord’s chosen people would be ready.
The ChristChurch event is the same. Christ is telling His Church to GET READY. Two years ago, 2008, the Lord made it known to the world, 7 years after a warning in 2001, with the feast of Trumpets shaking of the world’s financial markets and simultateously letting the world and earthly church know that the “Lamb” was slain, though many of Israel didn’t and don’t believe.
Also, In 2008 a man named Dr. Petrus Soons of Panama demonstrated to the world what Christ illustrated on His burial clothe. The Christ illustrated HIS name on the clothe. This word is only found once in the scriptures. It is an archaic Hebrew word and only found in Exodus 12:21. It is Tsade Aleph Nun, Strong word #6628, tzon.
http://biblos.com/exodus/12-21.htm
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and take for yourselves lambs according to your families, and slay the Passover lamb.
This word Tzon is Lamb. Christ is the Lamb of God, killed on Passover. Let one man die for the sins of the Nation said the High Priest.
Let the Church be ready. Let Christ’s Church be ready. Let us prepare the Passover Lamb and eat it.
Fear Not for the Lord is with US and also with you.
The dogs will not bark, nor will the peacock crow.

I believe that it was David Limbaugh who stated, “President Obama is treated like a dog, because he has treated the American people like a fire hydrant.”

Cindy,
Michael, liked “how you used the flight from Egypt as an illustration of the Rapture of the Church”
Yosoy said, “For the Lord told His friend Moses to go eat the Passover Lamb”
These quotes parallel the Exodus out of Egypt on ‘MIDNIGHT’ on 14 Nisan 1491BC but how many have connected the ‘Parable of the Ten Virgins’ and Revelation 12:10 to the the coming of the ‘Messiah’?
Remember the parable opens “Then the kingdom of heaven be likened unto…” and in Matthew 25:5-6, we read, “While the bridegroom delayed, at MIDNIGHT, he came!”
Then in Revelation 12:10 we see the “Kingdom of God and the power of His Christ coming with strength and salvation! What time of the year do you think this is? Notice the accuser has been “caste down”.
In 12:14 we read the “woman” is fed and kept from the “face of the serpent” for a time, times and half time” or near the middle of the last ‘seven’.
Then in Daniel 12:11 it says, “from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up there shall be 1290 days
There is only ONE DAY sacrifices can be stopped and that is 14 Nisan! Is this why the five virgins HAD NO OIL in their lamps? They were not expecting his return on Passover.
I believe this is the ‘greatest cover up’ and trick of Satan who has everybody looking at a “rapture” or Rosh Hashanah/September return for Yeshua.
While Daniel 12:11 proves otherwise and it will be Yeshua who will STOP the sacrifices on 14 Nisan and Revelation 12:10 witnesses his coming when Satan is cast out!
Cindy you said, “Leaving Egypt! The world won’t miss us and we won’t miss it! Come Lord Jesus come!”
Yes indeed, but he will come on a future Passover and it looks like March 25/26, 2013 is the time, the 5 “wise” virgins are represented by the “woman” in Revelation 12:14 and the “foolish” are the “offspring” of Revelation 12:17.
Thank you Lauren

Hi Lauren, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I believe the bridegroom has indeed tarried, and some will have grown weary in watching and may let their lamps go out. Whether it will be Passover 2013, or sometime before, I don’t know – the window for the rapture in my opinion, is wide open – we are seeing prophecy fulfilled before our eyes – I still believe the months of Sept through November will prove to be significant – but, we shall see. Walking by faith and watching daily as his wondrous plan unfolds. Blessings to you and your family, Cindy
