Heaven Bound

Like you, I do my best to study, watch and pray. And I appreciate those of you who join me in that endeavor. I think we can all agree that no one has all the answers but we do strive to collectively gain the bigger picture from what each one of us has to share. In that spirit I would like to share a portion of an email I received today regarding my latest post Behold, a Pale Horse.

Thank you Steve Coerper for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. Some of you may know Steve from Anakypto Forum an on-line radio program he did some years back and also from the Five Doves website where he is a frequent contributor. And with his permission I share the following –

“I’d remind you, for the sake of completeness, that the “beasts of the earth” could include really small “beasts” such as microbes, bacteria, and perhaps even viruses and such.  It should also be noted that the expectation Paul set regarding our departure was pretty much “business as usual” and NOT a global persecution of believers, or even a dramatic escalation of persecution (either scope or intensity) before the Lord brings us home.  So there are some great unknowns, at least to me.  The Dragon is poised to devour the child as soon as it is born, but the child is snatched to safety before harm can be inflicted.  And that ticks the Dragon off.

That second sign in Rev. 12 has also been an ongoing mystery to me.  So I guess we’ll see.  As we know, the first sign was “visible” only through Stellarium.  In the natural, Virgo was clothed with the sun, so the sun’s brilliance obscured everything else.  The sign also seemed to be spiritually obscured, as many Christians denied its validity, or said the alignment had no significance, or that it was a repeat of an alignment that happened when Jesus was born and was completely fulfilled at that time.  You’ve probably heard it all, but even Billy Crone, Jan Markell and many others came to that conclusion.

For the present, Michael Snyder is good with his facts but seems to think “prepping” with a bunker, water filter, dried food and the rest is the prudent way to go.  So I hold his conjectures lightly.  As we know, if it’s God’s plan that the bad guys hunt us down and kill us and we wind up Fifth Seal martyrs, then the best Berkey on the shelf won’t make any difference.  “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints” so I’m not concerned.

Our Rev. 3:10 promise is to be kept from the “hour of trial” and since that expression is only used here, we must speculate on what “hour of trial” may mean – what it may include and what it MUST exclude.  It’s purpose is “to try those who dwell upon the earth” and I think a key word is “try.”  It’s not punish, it’s not wrath – it’s a trial, and presumably some may pass the test and some may not, just as God tested Abram’s faith in asking him to sacrifice his son.

Also is the severity of the sixth seal earthquake. I’d thought for a while that this could be an earthquake signalling the beginning of the final seven years.  But this does not look like a warning; it appears to be global devastation.  A quake of this magnitude – one that shakes the heavens and the earth (Hebrews 12:26, quoting Haggai 2:6) seems like the coup de grâce rather than a pre-wrath warning.  If the heavens are disrupted and all the mountains and islands (technically all land masses are islands, as they are all surrounded by water), then the one-world government, with complete surveillance and control, would be technologically impossible

This does not discount your conclusions, of course.  I think Stan at the erstwhile 11:11Sign channel was correct in seeing event lines that ran concurrently.  But we can’t tell how much time elapses between any two events on a line.  All we know is sequence and the approximate amount of time between the first event and the last event on any line.  So the speculation continues.

Consider Rev. 5:13-14.  Most folks don’t seem to see the finality of this passage.  Read this carefully:  “And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: ‘Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!’ ”  Notice:  EVERY CREATURE.  We know people now who would never verbally acknowledge the glory and power and supremacy of God and the Lamb.  During the “tribulation period” we read of those stiff-necked an hard-hearted rebels who refuse to repent.  There have been rebellious sinners on earth since the beginning.  So the question is:  WHEN could this take place?  My conclusion is that it will happen when Rev. 20:14 – Rev. 21:8 are fulfilled.  So we have the end of an event line in Rev. 5, and then John returns to the beginning of the next event line, which starts with the first seal

Food for thought, or perhaps grist for another blog post.  The sixth seal DOES seem to be a “pre-wrath” time marker, and perhaps it is.  I suppose it’s possible that the technology necessary for the Anti-Christ one world government could possibly survive a sixth seal earthquake.  I don’t know.  But I don’t think we’ll still be here when we find out”.
