New York, New York …What Have You Done? *Updated

Hindu Goddess Kali Empire State Building August 15, 2015

“Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird”. Revelation 18:2

Without a doubt New York is getting hit the hardest by the Corona virus. And the situation by all accounts is getting more grim by the day. And while their dilemma (along with the rest of the country) is heart wrenching we look back on a few things in the recent history of the state and more specifically the city and have to ask, in all honesty …what were you thinking? It’s kind of like people who play with Ouija boards and seances. Once you call forth these entities it is very difficult (aside from the blood of Jesus) to ever get rid of them again. And New York as you will see has been courting disaster rather systematically from at least 2010 by calling up demonic spirits who just happen to match their political agendas. All in the name of cultural “expression” and “progression” .. of course.

Let’s look at a few things.

March 23, 2010 – As quoted by … “25-foot (8m) tall, 7-ton replica statue of the Egyptian god Anubis travels by barge past the Statue of Liberty on March 23, in New York harbor, in advance of the National Geographic exhibition’s Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs at Discovery Times Square Exposition. Mar 31, 2010″.

Anubis, god of the dead

Anubis has been described as the god of death, mummification, embalming, the afterlife, cemeteries, tombs, and the Underworld.

June 4, 2012 – President Obama signs in red ink his pledge to come back stronger following the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Here he vows “We remember, we rebuild, we come back stronger”. No humility just a continued defiance from the man who ran his presidential campaign on the promise of “change”.

Here he can be seen signing one of the final steel beams to be installed as part of the framework of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s One World Trade Center site in New York, N.Y., June 14, 2012. First Lady Michelle Obama, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg also signed the beam.

August 12, 2015 – The image of the goddess Kali was projected on to the Empire State Building as part of a display to bring awareness to endangered species. Interesting choice as Kali is a goddess of destruction.

“Kali is the Hindu goddess (or Devi) of death, time, and doomsday and is often associated with sexuality and violence but is also considered a strong mother-figure and symbolic of motherly-love.” Ancient History Encyclopedia

September 19, 2016 – A replica from the Temple of Baal is erected in New York City. Baal was a Canaanite god to whom babies were often sacrificed. The original arch was destroyed by ISIS the previous year. Yet for its “architectural value” it was reconstructed.

Arch of Baal

January 23, 2019 –The Empire State Building is lit up in pink in honor of the signing of the Reproductive Health Act which allows abortions after 24 weeks and up to birth.

Empire State Building

Officials smile broadly as the “Reproductuve Health Act” is signed. But no one is smiling now.

I dont know about you but I see a common thread of death, defiance and destruction. As my daughter Seven Stars so succinctly phrased it –

“Sin brings destruction of it’s own … but fools openly and boastfully invite it”

I could also add to this list the Empire State Building lit up in Rainbow colors in celebration of gay marriage.

*A grim assessment of the current situation in New York. They need our prayers.

If you can think of anything I’ve missed that you would like to add feel free to do so in the comments section. …which hopefully is working.

*Sorry, the comments section is again not working. On my settings they are turned on but still do not appear on the post. Until I get this figured out please attach any comment to the Passover and Covid-19 post. Thanks.

And, as always,

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall prosper who love thee” Psalm 122:6

Watching and waiting with you for the soon return of Jesus! Cindy
