The angel Moroni stop the Salt Lake City Mormon temple minus his trumpet
This morning the Utah Valley centered around Salt Lake City experienced a 5.7 earthquake. The jolt centered around the city of Magna was significant enough to startle residents awake at 7:09 am and to cause minor damage to a number of buildings. Most importantly though was the damage done to the gold image atop the LDS temple known as the angel Moroni who lost his trumpet as a result of the quake.
For those of us watching Bible prophecy unfold I believe this is significant. Yesterday I had started to write about God silencing the “gods” around us in preparation for his coming judgment. All the things that we idolize, the things that we worship brought to a standstill or close. Sports, cinema, vacations, leisure activities and so on. God is trying to get our attention one last time before judgment falls. Sadly, though unless the internet goes down most will spend their time playing video games or binge watching Netflix. Bringing me to believe that God may indeed allow the power grid to go down in one last attempt to reach people. The Bible says God finds no pleasure in judging the wicked. Right now God is tempering judgment with mercy but that window I believe is very short.
Back to the angel Moroni. So very interesting and not a coincidence that God caused the trumpet to fall. A trumpet is used as a call to assembly. In the last days (at the last trump as the scripture says), the Church will be assembled in heaven. Mormonism is a false religion with a Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible. The Mormon Jesus is a figment of the imagination and has no power to save. And the Mormon Church at its heart is a works based religion. There fore when the trumpet sounds Mormons and other unbelievers will not be going. God is silencing and exposing false Gods and he is just getting started.

I wonder if the three days of darkness
are next on the agenda? If we are sequestered
in our homes nationwide soon, it might be
that God is allowing this to protect us while
the abyss is opened, before our homecoming?

By the way, Mormon’s also use the Bible, so it is very possible for them to come to Faith in Jesus Christ, since John 3, and all the other Salvation verses, are found in their Bibles too. I know former Mormons who have come to Faith in Christ alone while in the Mormon church and then walked from it. Yes, their teaching is bizarre with the book of Mormon, but so is Catholicism with the Apocrypha and other Catholic teachings,and we all probably know Born Again Catholics still going to Mass. What about the insane teaching, or lack thereof, in many other so called Christian churches. Jesus came to His People who were, and are, immersed in Jewish tradition, but also had/have the Torah, where He was found written of( the two at Emmaus) We need to continue to pray that God will open the eyes of their understanding when they DO read the Scriptures. Remember Cornelius and the Ethiopian eunuch.

Yes, they can be saved but only by coming to the Jesus of the Bible and leaving the false teachings of Joseph Smith. Per Mormomism Jesus is the Spirit brother of Lucifer. A created being, not the third person of the trinity. This is not the Jesus of the Bible. I pray too their eyes will be opened. If they are they will leave Morminism. I am a Utah native and have family members who are mormons. I come from a family that helped settle the state. So, I am keenly aware and pray for them daily.
