“There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” Luke 21:11
I read with interest this morning a post by Michael Snyder on his blog End of the American Dream titled “Apocalyptic Sounds in the Sky…“. Apparently there have been a number of mystery booms and flashes of light occurring across the country with out any obvious explanation. And while I have not experienced this phenomenon myself I suspect that we have entered a time period when just about all of us would do well to expect the unexpected.
The Bible is quite clear that in the last days “there will be fearful events and great signs from heaven”. Is this what people are hearing? A precursor to these things? I really don’t know. But what we do know is that we have entered a period of time unlike any other in history; one that will culminate with the return of Jesus Christ. I pray that if you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that you will make that decision today. The world is unstable in more ways than one and knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to be ready.
