It’s been about two weeks since the much-anticipated fourth and final blood moon of the 2014-2015 tetrad. And, while the rapture did not take place as many had hoped for on the Feast of Trumpets this year, it is apparent (to me) that we are indeed right on schedule with God’s prophetic plan, so, therefore brethren, we should not lose heart.
First of all, there is simply no way that the blood moons with the solar eclipse at the center were coincidence. Anyone who understands God’s prophetic calendar and the supreme importance of Leviticus 23 could not help but know that these celestial signs were anything less than divinely appointed.
Looking at previous patterns, it is obvious that the tetrads have pointed to or served as celestial indicators of significant events in the history of the Jewish nation. The tetrad of 1492 centered around the Spanish inquisition and the expulsion of the Jews from Spain. The same year Columbus set sail for the America’s which would in time provide a safe haven for the worlds persecuted Jews. The 1948 tetrad heralded the formation of the state of Israel. And the 1967 tetrad saw Jerusalem restored as the capital of Israel. Therefore, this past tetrad, the tetrad of all tetrads, God’s supersign, as some have called it, is obviously indicative of something very big in the very near future for the state of Israel. The question is – what might it be?
I’ve been giving this some thought over the past few days and I think I have discovered a clue. As you will recall, in Leviticus 23, the Israelites are commanded to dwell in booths for 7 days during the feast of Tabernacles. A booth or a Sukkah as it is known in Hebrew is a temporary dwelling constructed outside ones home to remind the Israelite people of how God provided for them in the wilderness while en route to the promised land after leaving Egypt.
“You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out for the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” Leviticus 23:42–43
What is striking about this last blood moon is that it appeared between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. over Jerusalem on the Feast of Tabernacles. In order for those living in Israel to view it, they had to “come out” of their Sukkah’s in order to see it. A Sukkah has no windows, is generally 3 or 4 sided with a thatched roof of palm branches. Therefore it would have been impossible to view it without leaving the Sukkah …. they had to come out.
Now this is interesting because we would have to ask our selves why would God set this up so that they would have to leave the Sukkah in order to see it. Once we understand this it all falls in to place and provides an important clue to the time frame which we are now in. In order to do this we must first look at what the Sukkah represents.
As previously mentioned a Sukkah is a temporary dwelling places and is generally decorated abundantly with all kinds of fruits as a reminder that it is God who provides all that we need. Just as he provided for the Israelites during the wilderness journey. It is also serves to reminds us that this world is not our home, but a temporary dwelling place until we reach our real home which (for the believer) is in heaven. So, that being said – and God knowing this – for he commanded it – we must ask ourselves –
Why on September 28, 2015 were the Jewish people drawn from the shelter of the Sukkah in order to view this last and most important sign – a blood moon, a supermoon directly over Jerusalem?
A question which in my opinion should give us some pause for thought as the implications could be huge.

Cindy…very interesting as I have been having similar thoughts – your “dwell in booths for 7 days” thought in your post triggered my thoughts about the message of Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” and the fact Noah had a 7-day warning in Genesis 7:4…could it be that we have been given our 7-year warning (although I don’t like the thought of another 7-years with the way things are ramping up) this seems to fall inline with Mark Blitz teachings of if the Rapture did not occur at the end (Sept 14th) of this years Shemitah (which, as of yet, it did not), then it would likely be another 7-years at the end of the next Shemitah cycle. Nevertheless, I am in total agreement that all the signs and wonders of 2015 were certainly for a reason and not some mathematically impossible convergence that had no significance. One thing for certain, we can be assured, His coming is closer now than it was yesterday, so we should “Encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near” Hebrews 10:25b, and make no mistake about it, All the Signs and Wonders are STILL pointing to His SOON return!! The “Promise of His Coming” (whenever at may be) is still absolute and assured – count on it, and be Ready!! …Jim

Hi Jim, thank your for your very thoughtful note. I too had heard what Mark Biltz said about another 7 years and I have to tell you, I was rather discouraged at that. Whether he is right or wrong in that regard I really couldn’t say as I am no expert in that arena. I will say this though – I have my doubts that the blood moons were a sign for something that far away. In my opinion they were indicative of something much closer – something I will address in my next post. i agree with you cindy-not that far away. too many very significant signs coupled with highly significant feast times with events that are coming about in a real discernible order and frequency to not think that the time is very soon. the Bible describes this as birthpangs—they are increasing dramatically and this is not going to be a false labor. i look at the world this way to tell what time it is so to speak: israel as the hour hand-jerusalem as the minute hand-temple mount as the second hand. all the players are playing their positions in the places where they will be playing out this last big evil game of satan (and meet their end when Jesus enters the scene—saying halleujah right here!!! 😉 ). in the world of economics, politics, environment, and the falling away in full swing it is much closer than people think. i study matt 24, luke 21, mark 13, and daniel 11 to read and compare closely and there is a definite when/then scenario—somebody with a “shortened time” and judea has to flee. Jesus’ own words show us the passages move from distress (tribulation) to great distress (great tribulation)–that somebody only has 42 months (3 1/2 years) once armies surround jerusalem. how far out is that now??? it is very close because isaiah 17:1 is in the making right now with russia/iran/china (and isis) already in the syrian theatre poised on israel’s border (and a new oil discovery in the golan heights recently too that might be a “hook”). ps 83 lineup is all of the next door enemy neighbors and identified and all are rattling sabers. the un has come alongside the palestinians to recognize them (and israel as the “occupiers” 😦 ) and seeking politically to carve up the covenant land and remove the jewish people God gave that land to. it is a total powder keg and when it ignites, the world will have no doubt about what time it is.
as in the days of noah!!!!!! oh Jesus come quickly is my heart cry and come and save Your people the jews in opening their eyes to know You who was wounded in the house of His friends….and bring our loved ones, friends, and neighbors to their knees calling You LORD! i love to read what the Lord lays on your heart. watching and waiting and praying with you for that Blessed Hope—-and our soon opportunity to go HOME (because this world is not).

I think I remember that you believe in the rapture Cindy so I can understand your disappointment that this event may take quite a while longer to occur. I happen not to believe in the rapture as Jesus never mentioned his return as a two-time event – once at the rapture and a later time at his second coming. Even so, when one looks at the timing of the rapture this event is often associated with Jesus coming as a thief in the night. However, Rev 16:15-16 describes Jesus’ coming as a thief occurring right before the battle of Armageddon. I think we should prepare ourselves for the long haul; need to overcome and persevere instead of getting raptured out of here.

Hi Cindy. I hope the rapture is sooner than seven years from now. Some food for thought. October 5, 2022 is Yom Kippur. If this is the last day (day 2,520) of Daniel’s 70th week, Day one of Daniel’s 70th week would be November 11, 2015. A plausible date for the rapture could be October 30, 2015 which is the 17th day of Heshvan on the Hebrew calendar or the day Noah’s Flood started. Will there be some kind of 7 day warning on Oct 23 (Heshvan 10)? In any event, as of this writing there is still hope of the rapture occurring on this Shemitah cycle because the Bible gives ample evidence of the 7 year tribulation being 2,520 days (360 days times 7 years) or two distinct halves of Daniel’s 70th week being 1,260 days each. We are still in the running as of October 15 because there is a 36.75 day difference between 7 years on our calendar (365.25 times 7) vs. 7 years on God’s calendar (360 times 7).
What do you think? In any event, I could be wrong but it always pays to be ready even if the Lord tarries to next year or beyond. In any event, let’s keep looking up.
