NETANYAHU HOSTS TWO-HOUR BIBLE STUDY IN THE BOOK OF RUTH: Says “the Bible is the foundation of our existence.”
Exciting news from the blog of Joel Rosenberg. The Prime Minister of Israel has hosted his first Bible study and the timing couldn’t be better! While it is traditional to read the book of Ruth at Shavuot, for the Prime Minister to hold his first Bible study at this particular time (and, on this particular topic) can be no accident. A sure sign, in my opinion that God is about to begin a mighty work in the hearts of the Jewish people and, a possible sign that the prophetic clock is about to change. Shavuot is a wonderfully exciting feast with tremendous prophetic implication for both Israel and the Church. And, with the story of Ruth woven in to the picture, it becomes even more exciting. While the Prime Minister is reading about the Gentile Ruth, who married Boaz, the Jewish kinsman redeemer and, who left her own people in order to be united to the Jewish people, the church is ready to be separated and called up to heaven for marriage to her own heavenly bridegroom, the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua – our, kinsman redeemer. An event, when, it happens that is certain as it says in Romans 11:11, “to provoke Israel to envy”.
“Again, I ask: Did they (Israel) stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious”
And, an event, I might add, (should it happen soon), which, will be cause for thought by a very thoughtful Prime Minister, whose heart, I believe, God is even now preparing.
What an exciting time to be living in! Happy Shavuot everyone! Our joy is about to be made complete!

Pastor J.D. Farag said in his mid-east update last week that he believes it is possible that Netanyahu already is a believer in Jesus as the Messiah, but it really doesn’t seem likely because he, too, would be taken in the rapture. These are exciting days, Cindy! Everyday I wake up wondering what will happen. God bless you and keep you safe under His wings.
