February 11, 2011. A date, which when looked back upon in history will be considered pivotal -not only in terms of the middle-East but, for the entire world.
Commenting on the unfolding of events which led to the end of the Mubarak era, President Obama stated, “Egypt will never be the same”. And, he should know. For the President who campaigned on the slogan of change, lost no opportunity in sacrificing former friends and allies to ensure that change in Egypt would take place.
For 18 days, the world watched as millions took to the streets of Cairo demanding an end to the 30 year autocratic dictatorship of President Hosni Mubarak. Struggling to survive in a poor economic environment with an unemployment rate of 9.4%, young Egyptians are fed up with the status quo and rightfully want more. But, as is often the case, in situations like these, what people want and what they get are often two different things.
I came across something yesterday which absolutely astonished me! Take a moment to carefully read this and consider the implications. This could have been taken from yesterday’s newspaper! From Wikipedia regarding the Iranian Revolution of 1979:
“Demonstrations against the Shah began in January 1978. Between August and December 1978 strikes and demonstrations paralyzed the country. The Shah left Iran for exile in mid-January, and in the resulting power vacuum two weeks later Ayatollah Khomeini returned to a greeting by several million Iranians. The royal regime collapsed shortly after on February 11, when guerillas and rebel troops overwhelmed troops loyal to the Shah in armed street fighting. Iran voted by national referendum to become an islamic Republic on April 1, 1979 and to approve a new theocratic constitution whereby Khomeini became Supreme Leader of the country, in December 1979.
The revolution was unusual for the surprise it created throughout the world. It lacked many of the customary causes of revolution (defeat at war, a financial crisis, peasant rebellion, or disgruntled military; produced profound change at great speed; was massively popular, overthrew a puppet regime heavily protected by a lavishly financed army and security services and replaced a modernising monarch with a theocracy based on a guardianship of the Islamic Jurist. Its outcome – an Islamic Republic “under the guidance of an extraordinary religious scholar from Qom” — was, as one scholar put it “clearly an occurrence that had to be explained.”
Wow! Did you catch that? On February 11, 1979, the autocratic rule of the Shah of Iran was permanently toppled – replaced just weeks later by a theocratic dictatorship! What are the chances that two events such as these would occur on the very same date? Coincidence? I don’t think so! In my opinion, the fact, that these two very important events share the same date underscore the fact that the events in Egypt are something to pay very close attention to – and, is perhaps, the reason why everyone has been seeing 11:11.
Everyone has been spellbound with the images pouring out of Cairo this past week. Of all the images captured on film none has created more buzz than that of the ghostly image of a horse and rider appearing as if out of no where on a small piece of news footage. How this pale spectre appeared on this particular portion of film is anyones guess. Could it be the pale horse of the Apocalypse signifying the opening of the 4th seal of Revelation chapter 6? In my opinion, it is certainly possible. But, whether or not it is, we, as students of the Bible already know what is ahead and have the testimony of the Holy Spirit telling us that it is not business as usual in today’s world. But, rather to watch and be prepared.
From an article on Haaretz.com, President Mubarak was quoted as saying before his resignation in a phone call to former cabinet member Benjamen Ben- Eliezer of Israel
“They may be talking about democracy, but, they don’t know what they are talking about and the result will be extremism and radical Islam”.
The Obama administration in its action (or lack of action) has effectively cut the feet out from any chance of peace and stability in the Middle-East. Instead of standing fast with known friends and allies, they have chosen instead to throw caution to the wind in favor of letting the chips fall where they may. And, fall they will.
President Obama ran his campaign on the promise of change and change is a promise he has delivered on.
In Isaiah 19, Egypt is spoken of as being given over to a cruel master.
“See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the heart of the Egyptians melt within them. I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian – brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom …. I will hand the Egyptians over to a cruel master and a fierce king will rule over them declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.” Isaiah 19: 1–4
Pray for the people of Egypt. Those who truly wanted something better have been snookered. Change is coming – and, not for the better, at least for now. The good news is that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob loves the Egyptians and in days to come has promised to save them and to heal them of their afflictions. May that day be soon, O Lord! (Isaiah chapter 19).
And, as always –
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper who love thee” Psalm 122:6 Watching and waiting with YOU for the soon return of Jesus! Cindy

Amen.
And Bravo..
We witness true prophecy in our day. Egypt is not to be ignored. Soon, other countries will follow the same CHANGE that Egypt has and all will fall into the lap of
The Deciever….The Man Of Lies.
Not sure who he is but I have a strong hunch.

[ Thanks D! After I finished my blog, I ran across this information on Five Doves (posted by Daniel Matson). February 11 (Adar 7) is also the date of birth and death of Moses! It’s impossible to think about the name of Moses with out Egypt coming to mind – how much more then the importance of this Feb 11 date. Something else I came across on Five Doves (posted by Gerry Almond) – Moses lived 120 years – the same number of years Noah preached before the flood. If you count 120 years forward from the date of the first Zionist Congress held in Basel, Switzerland in 1897, (using Biblical years of 360 days, you come to 12/8/2015 – which ties perfectly with the tetrads discovered by Mark Biltz! I think this is very exciting – I’ll post the link to the post by Gerry on Five Doves, from there, you will need to click on the link he provides. http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/feb2011/gerrya211.htm – C]

Good post Cindy. And, as a direct effect of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, just a brief 6 years, 5 days later, Hezbollah was founded in Lebanon. Because of the ’79 “change” we ended up with a nation that continues to breed terrorism; that metastasized into other nations.
We can clearly see how the nations surrounding Egypt in today’s political upheavals are, even now, spreading to nearby nations. One difference in today’s time versus 1979 is nuclear energy. What weapons have Egypt been acquiring these past 30 years as a friend and ally to the USA and peace partner with Israel? These are most interesting times.
Blessings to you and the work you do, Cindy.

[ Excellent point Rhonda! With the fall of the Mubarak regime, the stakes are hgher than ever! Something else I came across on Five Doves yesterday posted by Amy VanGerpen. An excellent video by Pastor Jon Courson of Calvary Chapel, Capo Beach, CA (I think) – A little over an hour in length, Pastor Courson gives the best understandable (and interesting) explanation of the difference between the Shiite muslims and the Sunni muslims and what is at stake in Egypt. I highly recommend taking the time to listen to this, as I could never keep the two straight before. Pastor Courson does such a good job explaining this, anyone listening to it will seem like an expert next time the subject comes up with your family and friends. And, with today’s events -it surely will. Here’s the lnk – http://www.joncourson.com/teaching/teachingsplay.asp?teaching=T471 . Blessings Rhonda, it is a pleasure hearing from you! C ]

Great work, Cindy!! Not that it necessarily means anything, but some other major (and profoundly evil) power transitions occurred on February 11th. Among them:
In 55AD, “Tiberius Claudius Caesar Britannicus, heir to the Roman Emperorship, dies under mysterious circumstances in Rome. This clears the way for Nero to become Emperor.” Nero is infamous for stepping up the persecution of Christians to fever pitch (e.g., blaming the burning of Rome on them.)
In 1531, “Henry VIII of England is recognized as supreme head of the Church of England.”
And in 1953, “The Soviet Union breaks off diplomatic relations with Israel.”

Isaiah 19 continues…..after the harsh King…..
17 And the land of Judah hath been to Egypt for a cause of staggering, Every one who doth mention it, for himself feareth, Because of the counsel of Jehovah of Hosts, That He is counselling against it.
18 In that day there are five cities in the land of Egypt, Speaking the lip of Canaan, And swearing to Jehovah of Hosts, ‘The city of destruction,’ is said of one.
19 In that day there is an altar to Jehovah In the midst of the land of Egypt, And a standing pillar near its border to Jehovah,
20 And it hath been for a sign and for a testimony, To Jehovah of Hosts in the land of Egypt, For they cry unto Jehovah from the face of oppressors, And He sendeth to them a saviour, Even a great one, and hath delivered them.
21 And known hath been Jehovah to Egypt, And the Egyptians have known Jehovah in that day, And done sacrifice and present, And vowed a vow to Jehovah, and completed it. 22 And Jehovah hath smitten Egypt, smiting and healing, And they have turned back unto Jehovah, And He hath been entreated of them, And hath healed them.
23 In that day is a highway out of Egypt to Asshur, And come in have the Assyrians to Egypt, And the Egyptians into Asshur, And the Egyptians have served with the Assyrians.
24 In that day is Israel third, After Egypt, and after Asshur, A blessing in the heart of the earth.
25 In that Jehovah of Hosts did bless it, saying, ‘Blessed is My people — Egypt, And the work of My hands — Asshur, And Mine inheritance — Israel!’
Let the sons of God be made known and the Lawlessone revealed.

Cindy, another great post.
And I have to say…your talk of video horses reminds me of another video of solar flare taken on 2/11 (yup, same day) that appears in image as a fiery red horse shooting off the sun. (around the 50 second mark)…
Here’s the video

Wow, that video of the red “look-alike” horse is awesome! So now we’ve seen the chloros horse on video, the red horse on video, we’ve seen the white horse and its rider taking peace from the land, and it looks like the black horse is riding, too, in that (from all I’m reading) crops are going to be very scarce in the near future! Could it be? Is it possible that we are not just being given an opportunity to see not just the results of their riding, but also symbols of their riding? I, for one, think it could!

Dear Cindy,
I wonder if the 11/11 thing folks keep seeing has something to do with February being the 11 sign in the zodiac? Just thinking….
Peace,

Cindy,
You probably read the comment that appears in the link below concerning the green/pale horse which showed up on Fivedoves—if not, it goes well with your article.
