Heaven Bound

We have witnessed something extraordinary today. Something almost no one could have predicted or even guessed at.  Because of the death of Charlie Kirk the gospel has gone out in one powerful swoop to the four corners of the earth.

With a crowd numbering in the tens of thousands … the gospel was preached again and again as one speaker after another took the podium at the Charlie Kirk Memorial Service.

And with the service being broadcast world wide it would be impossible to gauge how many people around the world were impacted by the message of salvation through Jesus Christ today.

Therefore, I think we can safely say that we have witnessed the fulfillment of this verse in our time today:

“And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come. Matthew 24:14

It might not mean anything but as I opened my Bible to look for this verse to make sure I had it worded correctly my Bible opened to the exact page. How cool was that!

With everything that is happening I see a real momentum for change. Which is great …  except that I don’t see that reflected in scripture. In fact, quite the opposite. Which leads me to one conclusion:

Following this one last outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world will be plunged in to the great tribulation but as for those of us who are believers-

We are going home!

Large crowds have been gathering around the world to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. In an almost unexplainable outpouring of grief people from  all walks of life have gathered by the thousands to pay their respects.

But more than that- the gospel message so important to Charlie seems to have ignited in a way no one expected. And as I think about all that has transpired in the last few days I can only marvel at what God is doing through this terrible tragedy.

But what comes next? The shooter was arraigned in a Utah court today with the State seeking for what most expected- the death penalty. And while the wheels of justice grind slowly in cases such as this it was apparent to anyone looking at the perpetrator that he was already dead … from the inside out. A tragedy in and of itself.

And while I believe the perpetrator is fully accountable for his actions and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law I grieve for so many young people lost to this madness. The devil is a liar, thief and a murderer and stealing our children is top on his list. I understand the pain – I have a grandaughter lost to this as well.

I’m truly hoping for the rapture Tuesday September 23. I’m praying that the gospel will go forth so powerfully on the day of Charlie’s Memorial that it will leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that God is at work bringing in a last minute end times harvest.

But if it does not happen this way – we will not be discouraged – we will not be dismayed – instead we will continue where Charlie left off. The mantle has been passed and there are a million Charlies ready to pick it up and run!

On Wednesday morning before I heard the news regarding the death of Charlie Kirk my morning reading was from Proverbs 10 which included the following verse –

“When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.” Proverbs 10:25

And while that may seem the exact opposite of what happened it is actually remarkably accurate.

Charlie was one of a kind and I’ll tell you why.

Known though out the United States (and much of the world) for his unflappable good nature in tackling some of the toughest social and political issues of our time Charlie was unafraid of going into the public square to fairly debate with whoever asked to speak with him.

He was cursed at and insulted on a regular basis but somehow managed to maintain his composure answering every argument with extraordinary intelligence, wit and grace. And more importantly… he never failed in giving praise and glory to Jesus Christ in all that he said and did.

But that is not why Charlie is unique and special. Oh, yes …it is part of it, no doubt. But it’s not the whole story.

Think about it this way. Methuselah died the year the flood came. Some think it was seven days before the rain started. The same seven day warning Noah received.

Might the death of another of God’s servants precede judgement? Is that too far a stretch to think God might use the death of one of his servants in a similar way in these modern times?

On Sunday September 21 a memorial will be held for Charlie in Glendale Arizona. And without a doubt it will be broadcast not only throughout this nation but around the earth.

And, also without a doubt the gospel message will be clearly preached and will be the predominant theme of the service – which is what Charlie would have wanted.

Now here is where it gets good- as if all that wasn’t good enough.

Name one person living today whose death would affect people as deeply as the death of Charlie Kirk has. I can’t remember when I have seen so many grown men on a variety of forums cry. I myself (like so many others) have felt an almost unexplainable deep loss even though I have never personally met him

I submit to you …what other person … living today … would have such a profound affect on so many?

What politician? What entertainer? What celebrity or even Pastor?

I doubt that even the death of the President would touch people in the same way that the death of Charlie Kirk has.

I have personally read on a number  of forums through the comments section where people are saying things like ” I have not touched a Bible in years but because of Charlie I’m reading mine today” or “I’m going to buy a Bible” or find a Church to go to this week.”

Amazing!

There are those who believe there will be an endtime harvest before the rapture – and if that is so – I’m telling you this is it!

This is it!

And using one of Charlies own phrases from Turning Point USA –

“Prove me Wrong”

Do you know the name Kirk means church? How interesting is that! And the name Charlie or Charles means manly or free man.

Yes, we the Church are free men (and women) indeed!

Coincidence?

Charlie was also just 31 years old at the time of his death and look at this –

Strongs 31 means : a message

And if a message – what message might it be?

Feast of Trumpets September 23, 2025

There are many who are looking at the Feast of Trumpets as a very high watch date for the rapture this year. And I am inclined to agree – perhaps more so now than ever.

Lets look at a few other things:

The Feast of Trumpets comes 13 days after Charlies death.

Thirteen is the number of lawlessness and rebellion.

A number aptly describing a part of the culture that is not only celebrating his death but played an active part in it.

And how about the number 10 … the date of his death?

Lawlessness, rebellion and destruction

Certainly fits.

But, then look at this – Strongs number 21 …the day of Charlies Memorial Service

There is a two fold message. In one way, the number 21 is closely related to the number 13. It means rebellion, wickedness and judgment. Quoting from “Numbers in the Bible” website ‘

On the last day of God’s seven-day spring festival, day 21 of the month of Nisan, the Eternal carried out his last judgment against the Egyptians. He drowned Pharaoh and his entire army in the Red Sea as they were pursuing the Israelites in order to make them slaves again.

So, there we see judgment. But Strongs number 21 shows us another side to that coin.

And last but not least – the number 23 – from Strongs (As in September 23 – “the Father gathers)

There is a storm coming. A day when the wicked will face judgment and those who are saved will be gathered. I believe that this process has already started and is in motion even as we speak.

Erika Kirk (God bless her!) in remarks following her husband’s death stated to those who were responsible for his death (both directly and indirectly) and for those celebrating it –

You have no idea what you have unleashed!

And they don’t.  Prophetic words in deed.

This is big. And whether the rapture comes Tuesday September 23rd two days after Charlies service I can’t say for sure. But this much is true – it is coming soon and woe to those who are left behind.

Humans were never intended for God’s wrath- but its coming.

I’ve heard many people state that it felt like something changed…something shifted …. when Charlie died. And I don’t think thats simply imagination or over exaggeration. And while no one can quite pin point it; its there. And maybe it’s because its super natural. Something has happened in the spiritual realm and it’s a palpable feeling that can’t be shaken.

If all this resonates with you as it has for me then I think we are looking at some very big things in the next few days – and hopefully it means we are all going home!

As a mother and a grandmother the photo above rips me to my core.

For me, Shiri Bibas has become the face of all the mothers of Israel whose babies were destroyed from the time of Moses to the present day.

From Pharaoh to Herod to Hitler to Hamas the anguish and terror of each mother who lost a child in such a cruel and needless way is forever etched in the face of this brave woman which has now been seen by countless multitudes around the world.

I wanted to know what the name Shiri meant in Hebrew and was delighted to find out it means song; my song.

Songs are important parts of scripture as in the Song of Moses, or the Song of Deborah.

Therefore as a tribute to Shiri and all the Mothers of Israel who have lost children and as in Shiri’s case her own life as well I have written the following which I call:

Shiri’s Song

Like the flowing of the river, the river Jordan (Yarden)  flowing down;

I’m going to try to piggy back this on to my post from yesterday titled On Wings of Eagles but before I do I would like to thank my daughter for bringing the subject matter to my attention and for sharing her very keen insight in to it.

It started with a YouTube video she came across this morning from Charisma Media with guest L.A. Marzulli  who is a well known author, lecturer and film maker who has spent many years investigating the paranormal connection between things like UFO’s and the Bible revealing them to be demonic in nature.

Today he was speaking about the Nephilim and the Gaza connection. The nephilim as many of you know are the giants of old; the hybrid off-spring of fallen angels and human women.  I had not really thought about this until today even though we know from scripture that Goliath was a giant and lived in Gath which is in or near Gaza.

On February 8th Hamas unveiled a banner in response to threats from the United States (and Israel)  to eliminate them from Gaza. If you look closely at the banner below you will see a raised fist … a raised fist obviously speaks of defiance but there is something more … take a good look ….  this raised fist has not five but six fingers. A tale-tell sign of the giants of old more specifically known as the nephilim.

Written in Arabic, Hebrew and English are the words-

We’re the flood … the wars next day

Interesting, how the flood is mentioned in conjunction with the six fingered fist and in the words of Jesus himself when he referenced  the last days in Matthew 24:37-39

” But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Soon of man be”.

So looking at the imagery from the banner above we need not only a six fingered fist but the Palestinian flag looking as if it’s a river or stream flowing from the fist.

Yesterday, I wrote about Revelation 12:14 which speaks about the woman (Israel) being carried to a place of safety on wings of Eagles. Now, before I go any further I would like to say that I am not necessarily one who believes that the events outlined in the book of Revelation are in sequential or chronological order. They may be but they also may not be.  The same may be said for the individual chapters as well.

Therefore, when one considers the verse following Revelation 12:14 which I wrote on yesterday – the one which speaks of the woman being carried away on wings of Eagles we find something very interesting. It says:

“So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.” Revelation 12: 15-16

So, it appears to me that the flood by the serpent is an attempt to circumvent the woman from being carried to a place of safety and to mock the original flood by which the world was destroyed for the intermingling of the seed which resulted in corrupting the human race- with the exception of Noah and his family of course.

But as we read in verse 16 –

” …  the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

Now, the question we have to ask is this  …. is the flood actual water? Or is it a flood of people demonically energized and possessed by the demonic and disembodied spirits of the nephilim? Or is it both?

In my opinion the banner clearly suggests a connection between Hamas and these demonic entities. It is also in my opinion (based on the wording on the banner) that they will soon be released – that their return is near.

But we know that all is not lost – the earth helps the woman. How that might happen is a matter of speculation but we do have some possible ideas from other passages in the Bible

One possibility is that the earth opens up as it did in the time of Korahs rebellion swallowing up the people. Maybe the tunnels collapse in on them or a tsunami is generated and they themselves are swallowed up in the flood. But one thing is for sure – their plan will fail.

And when it does the master mind behind all this is absolutely infuriated and turns his attention away from the woman as we read in Revelation 12:17

“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ”.

Persecution of the Saints

Its very clear that the object of his fury is Christians. But shouldn’t we have been raptured by this point? Perhaps. And it may be that this is exactly why we are raptured. The woman (Israel) escapes to the wilderness …

and believers to heaven.

It will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday at noon when Hamas fails to produce the hostages.

President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have promised that if they do not …”all hell will break loose.” 

And Hamas has vowed that any attempt to move them out of Gaza will be met with defiance as illustrated by their own words.

This is what the word war is in reference to (on their banner) and we know it’s not just a physical war because by their own symbol – a raised six fingered fist – we recognize that they recognize that this is a spiritual war and it’s ready to spill over from heaven on to earth .

“And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she might fly in to the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. ” Revelation 12:14

Early this morning I had a short dream that I would like to relate here.

In this dream I was in Israel. What I was doing there is rather fuzzy. Next thing I know two large Eagles are flying towards me. One is a Bald Eagle and the other is a Golden. The Bald Eagle proceeds to land on my right shoulder with the other Eagle landing next to him.

Pretty short dream. But interesting nonetheless. I ran it by my daughter and she immediately thought of Revelation 12:14 as quoted above.

Now, I think it’s safe to say that these Eagles are not literal but rather symbolic for we also read in the book of Exodus how the Israelites were brought out of Egypt on the wings of Eagles … and as we know there were no literal Eagles involved.

“You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” Exodus 19:4

Therefore it is an obvious figure of speech comparing God’s protection and care to that of an eagle; very similar to what we read in Deuteronomy chapter 32 verses 10-12.

“In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste.
He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye, like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young,
that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft”.

So, its possible that once again the imagery could be figurative as it was in Exodus. But it could also be symbolic of a country that has the ways and means to make this happen.

And that country would of course be the United States for whom the Bald Eagle is its national bird.

Therefore, I think it’s a strong possibility that the wings of Eagles in this instance could very well be the United States as both eagles (Golden and Bald) represent this country in strength, power and freedom. And perhaps more importantly – money.

How soon this might happen is anyone’s guess. But, we know Bible prophecy is moving forward rapidly with the situation in the Middle-East changing by the day so anything could happen. In the meantime, we watch and wait knowing that in God’s time and in God’s way all of these things will be fulfilled just as he said.

On February 2nd rapper Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori shocked the world by appearing nude (her, not him) at this years Grammy Awards.

Donning a ankle length fur coat when ask by paparazzi to reveal the fashion she was wearing beneath she dropped the coat to reveal a 100 percent transparent mini dress so sheer she may as well have been wearing nothing at all.

For all the lewdness, crudeness and debauchery we’ve seen by Hollywood over the years this has to be an all time low. For some reason these events draw out the need for some people to put their bodies on display with one trying to out do the other in shock value.

And while Kanye and his wife were ultimately escorted off the red carpet and may yet be charged with indecent exposure it was apparent to anyone watching that this stunt  accomplished exactly what it was intended for – attention and lots of it!

Kanye at one time claimed to be a Christian yet here he is parading his wife in front millions of people in the most degrading way possible. The only thing lacking was a dog collar and leash. Whether she willingly participated or was drugged, threatened or both I have no idea. I have been praying for her.

A Last Hour Warning

Its interesting that the name Bianca means white. As in pure. Purely digusting, purely vile we could say … yet, we are reminded by Jesus himself when confronted with the woman caught in adultery …

This alone should humble us.

The state of our culture at this late hour has been painfully exposed. We are for the most part naked and not ashamed. Therefore, this incident is as much about us as it is about them. And I believe that God has placed these verses in the book of Revelation for such an hour as this that we might see our greatest need in the days before his coming.

I pray that Kanye West will repent of his sin and come to a true and saving faith in Jesus Christ. I pray the same for his wife with the added caveat that she should find the help and courage to leave the abusive relationship she appears to be in even if she does not recognize the situation for what it is right now.

And I pray that this would be a wake up call to the many people who adore Hollywood and worship pop star icons. I pray also that their eyes would be opened so that they might see the state of their own nakedness and need for Christ while there is still time.

Thank you Lord for covering our nakedness with the righteousness only you can provide. I also pray that those who have attempted to clothe themselves in the fig leaves of works might also see the inadequacy of that covering.

Faith in Christ and Christ alone is sufficient for our salvation and is the only thing that will adequately cover the nakedness of our sin and shame.

Thank you God for providing garments white and clean for us through the precious blood of your Son.

On Sunday, February 9th the Kansas City Chiefs match up against the Philadelphia Eagles for the finale to the 2024 football season in Superbowl 59. This will be a repeat of the two teams who also played against each other in Superbowl 57 with the Chief’s prevailing in that game by three points. So, I imagine with the previous game being so close in score that this will be a highly watched game.

Coincidence or Not

In the last two days, we have had two horrific plane crashes with mass casualties as a result. The Black Hawk helicopter that collided with an American Eagle plane as it approached for landing at Ronald Regan Airport on January 30th and the Medivac Lear jet which crashed after take off in Philadelphia less than 24 hours later. At this time both accidents are under investigation with a number of questions that have yet to be answered satisfactorily.

Aside from that there are some unusual connections at least word wise between these two terrible “accidents” and the Super Bowl this coming weekend.

Connections

1- Blackhawk is the name of a well known Indian Chief. The Chief’s are one of the contending Superbowl teams.

2- The American Eagle jet which originated from Wichita, Kansas. The Philadelphia Eagles are the other contending team. Kansas part of the name of the Chief’s although home is in the Missouri side of the city.

3- The Lear 55 Medivac jet crashed in Philadelphia enroute to Missouri. Philadelphia, the Church of the rapture and the home to the Philadelphia Eagles.

So, as you can see there are an interesting number of names in these two incidents which eerily mirror those of Superbowl 59 which will be held on February 9th in New Orleans.

This years Superbowl will be held in New Orleans at the newly named Super Dome whose name was changed from Mercedes-Benz to Caesars in July 2021 and will be the first Superbowl held in the stadium since it’s name was changed.

So, as you can see by its own admission the stadium belongs to Caesar. And “Caesar” considers himself to be God.

Therefore, the sporting event which will be held beneath its dome represents much more than the game being played inside. And like gladiators of old …it didn’t really matter much who won as both were expendable what mattered most was that everyone knew who Caesar was and that it was he who had sovereignty over life and death. In this instance “Caesar” is the powers that be who seek to change life by controlling whole populations and killing those who refuse to be controlled.

The Day the Music Died

As most of us know the phrase “the day the music died” is in reference to Buddy Holly and his death by plane crash on February 3, 1959. If you count the days from his death until the Superbowl held at Ceasars Stadium on February 9, 2025 it comes out to 66 years and 6 days.

And while it has long been speculated that the song American Pie by Don McLean in 1971 which utilizes the phrase – “the day the music died” would one day serve as America’s funeral dirge …it so far has not happened. But it could. And it might be sooner than we think.

Fire!

“And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite
I saw Satan laughing with delight …

For fire is the Devils only friend”

Will Superbowl 59 be the next to end in fiery tragedy? I certainly hope not. But then again I wouldn’t exactly be surprised.

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away

But their is something quite interesting outside Ceasars Stadium. It’s a bronze statue titled Rebirth.

And what do all these fires and disasters share in common? The desire by the NWO to reduce the old to ashes from which the new will emerge. Superbowl 59 could be a key event in accomplishing that.

From the rebirth of the City of New Orleans as commemorated by this statue on September 25, 2006 to Superbowl 59 on February 9th, 2025 is 6712 days. Strongs Hebrew word is 6712 is to laugh or mock.

Interesting, is an event coming that will mock what was designated as the rebirth of New Orleans? And has it foretold within the lyrics of American Pie?

I have not even touched on the football aspect of the lyrics from American Pie as most of you are probably familiar with them. But if not, you can read through them here.

It’s interesting that the statue titled rebirth is in connection with Saints. And we know that there is only one rebirth that counts and that is to be born again. Perhaps, part of the mocking which Superbowl 59 is designed to do.

Numbers Tell A Story

Which brings us to the tragic slaughter of 14 individuals in New Orleans on Bourbon Street on New Years Day of this year.

Counting from New Years Day until the February 9th Superbowl is 40 days. A number biblically that means a time of trial or testing. But we also have the number 14 (the number of those killed) which is a double 7 and biblically speaks of spiritual perfection, salvation or deliverance. So, we have two very different numbers associated with that terrible event but both biblically significant.

Could it be that the New Years Day attack was to plant ahead of time the idea that New Orleans is a target for terrorism?

Two Teams, Two Logos

A Match Up by Design

The Chief’s by virtue of their name and logo represent the indigenous people of the Continent before the Europeans arrived.

*Remember we’re talking symbolism here.

The Eagles represent the colonists who arrived establishing Philadelphia as our seat of government with the Eagle itself becoming our national bird.

This is why the Chief’s had to win that play off game.

These two teams with their respective logos represent the current struggle of the country. 

One side sees the Colonization of the Continent as evil and in doing so seek to tear down what has come before i.e. statues etc. 

The other represents what is considered as achievement providing the best life for the majority in spite of past mistakes utilizing the Bible and Christian principles for forming our government and way of life.

These two ideologies are currently at war with each other. And has become an on going tug of war for control. In the end, it won’t matter because this constant strife between the two is allowable ( by the powers that be) only until the two sides become sufficiently worn down.

We are in a series of events that is rapidly moving towards a one world government and the rise of the Anti-Christ and Superbowl 59 has all the markings for being the next line line to facilitate that.

If an act of terror should occur that day we should not be surprised. And fire whether by explosion or any other means seems to be the weapon of choice right now. But, we Saints have the blessing of knowing in spite of all these things our departure is very, very near.

So, with that being said I’d like to end this with the words to a song that I think applies the most.

“And I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites and the Hittites.” Exodus 23:28

I was surprised to see this little fellow flitting around the inside of our living room window this morning. I don’t know how unusual that is for January in our particular climate but it has been unseasonably mild the last few days so I imagine that is why. My sister who lives in Nevada reports seeing wasps as well so perhaps its not that unusual.

The Bible has a number of things to say about hornets. Take for example the verse above where God says that he will send hornets ahead of them (the Israelites) in their quest to conquer their enemies.

Isn’t it interesting that God should use this tiny creature to carry out his purposes? Why a hornet? But then again, why a plague of flies or a talking donkey for that matter? Whether literal or figuratively what we know from this and so many other scriptures is that when it comes to God we can expect the unexpected – for God uses what he chooses … which often makes little sense to us.

But aren’t we glad God can drive out his enemies by something as simple as a little insect? Killer fog, drones, the zombie apocalypse … the Bible tells us to fear not … and for good reason … God is never without a plan and he has all of creation at his disposal in carrying it out.

Well, after waving a broom around for a few minutes in a futile effort to convince this guy to go out side my husband calmly took the broom and held it still until the little guy hopped aboard after which he was safely deposited out doors.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall prosper who love thee ” Psalm 122:6

Does anyone else feel like we’ve entered some kind of weird science fiction movie? First drones and then fog … weird fog … fog that leaves a  whitish residue on surfaces and has a strange chemical smell or taste to it. Apparently, this fog is prevalent in areas where there was drone activity – not just here in the United States but world wide and people everywhere are making videos and talking about it. People are also reporting abnormal behavior of pets both cats and dogs. Is this some kind of mass hysteria or is there really something going on?

Here in Northern New Mexico it’s been abnormally mild for January with temperatures in the mid-50’s with blue nearly cloudless skies. No fog what so ever but then we don’t get much fog anyway. And our cat – well, the neighbors cat who comes to visit quite frequently seems to be busy about whatever cats do. We have a creek by our place and since there is currently no snow he has taken advantage of the mild temperatures for his favorite activities…hunting and exploring…both of which he is highly adept at.

So, I don’t have much to report from my neck of the woods. My grandkids have been sick with a variety of maladies since Christmas…everything ranging from colds, ear infections, fevers and cough … but, that’s not exactly unusual this time of the year even if temperatures are mild.

We know from scripture that in the last days pestilence will come.

“And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.” Revelation 6:8

Pestilence by definition is a deadly, contagious or infectious disease that affects the whole community. And while I have known this passage from scripture for many years I don’t think I had ever considered  that things like pestilence could be deliberate.  That we could, in fact,  be in the process of being sprayed like so many bugs. That still is such a mind blowing thought – one that our normal minds reject for the simple fact that evil on that kind of scale is more than we can comprehend. But then we remember 2019 and we now know that it is not just possible but probable.

We have known for a while that population control is at the top of the agenda for the NWO so I guess we really should not be surprised. Therefore, it would be the perfect time to start praying Psalm 91 over yourself and your family if you have not done so already.

If this is any where near true I think we can expect to see large numbers of people becoming very, very ill in the very near future.  How will they explain it this time? The powers that be. The bird flu? Or something else? And what remedy will they have ready and waiting for us? And perhaps more importantly:

How many will buy in to it before they realize it is too late?
