The Gift of Reconciliation
When I think now in terms of gifts I see things in an entirely new light. Not that I didn’t understand before that Chistmas is all about reconciliation between God and man …but how to convey that in terms of the culture we live in had sort of eluded me leaving me overwhelmed and discouraged. Now with each card I write, each gift I wrap I’m more centered around the connection I have with that person as opposed to just getting the job done and crossing it off my list. My focus now is less what’s in the box, how pretty the ribbon is but rather my actual relationship with that person. Sounds simple, right …but its so easy to lose that focus.
So, Steve I really appreciate your thoughts on the subject – Holy Spirit inspired! And I do thank you for it!
